This motel is average although overpriced for what it is....we were here for work and at almost $100 per night it got very pricy very quick. Stayed for a week the rooms were clean and comfortable enough although the heater made the room too hot if you ran it all night but if you turned it off it was too... More

This is a big hotel . The rooms on the ground floor have a door to a small private sitting area outside. The rooms are large and some have been recently renovated. Each room has a small refrigerator and a microwave. Our room had two double beds and a table with 2 chairs. The beds were hard and one mattress needed... More

We had a wedding in Parry Sound this summer and chose this hotel mainly because of the outdoor pool. To our disappointment, it was closed every single day we stayed here and re-opened the day we left (we were told the only reason it opened after we left was because some other guests who were staying there for many months... We stayed at this place because we went to a wedding in the Muskokas. The bed was fine and the staff was alright. However for the price we paid ($120) I'd really expect more than a damp, musky, smelly room (smelled like someone had tried to cover up old smoke smell with febreeeeeze and scented products) with stained carpets and... For over 100$, you get a typical room with old stained carpet, adequately bleached sheets on a springy bed (no big fluffy duvet), an old broken but functioning a/c unit which blasts air directly onto the bed, window screens with big tears in them partially covered in ancient, crackling duct tape which lost its sticky years ago. The non-smoking room... More

Had to request clean towels for next day. Carpenter Ants found in room..Pretty much everything requires an update.(room, pool, exercise area, etc). No Air conditioning in Main Lobby or Golden... More

We booked in on a friday night and it seemed to take forever. There were only 3 couple in total but very slow. Only one person on the desk. Building is old and when we opened the door to our corridor there was either a smell of paint or chemicals. Just a faint smell in the room. The room was... More

Please. Do yourself a favor and stay in town, and in a different hotel. This place was old, I mean OLD. The buildings should be torn down. The odor was horrible. Transients wandered the grounds. The so called restaurant should be investigated by the ministry of health. The gym looked like a museum for antique equipment. Just gross. My skin... More
