My wife and I were visiting Parry Sound Ontario and we're turned off by the dining choice available to us. My wife discovered this place called Log Cabin Inn, well I started out by telling her this was a resort to rent rooms.....not a dining establishment. She showed me the menu.......and first thing I said was " Sorry Honey, you... More

Please note that my review of "Value" is based on the room, not the restaurant. We thought the restaurant was decent value for the price. The restaurant at Log Cabin Inn is top notch! We had a very nice dinner there. The food was very flavourfull, the selection was good and they tell us they vary the menu regularly. Natalie,... More

Very good dinner. Food was excellent and prepared to our exact liking. No problems in the changes we asked for. Server was very friendly and service was quick even with the restaurant being full. No wait time at check in either. This was during peak summer season.

This was our third time staying at the Log Cabin Inn while attending the "Festival of the Sound". The spacious accommodation was perfect with a very comfortable king-size bed, a large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, a shower, satellite TV and a comfortable sitting area. Our cabin had connecting doors to the next room making it ideal for enjoying our time... More

We visit the Log Cabin Inn at least a couple of times a year, usually in September when it is not quite so busy. This time we treated ourselves after a concert at the Stockey Centre. We are always greeted personally by the owner, Kathy Dalrymple, in a most gracious manner. She goes out of her way to seat us... More

Lovely locale and very rustic. Room was good size and beds were very comfortable. Blinds were very old and did not close, very small fridge on floor, bad lighting in shower area, long hairs in various places, dated decor, hole in front door. Too many disappointments for the price charged. Would highly recommend attached restaurant, though.

this place may have been grand back in the day, but it is very dated and tired now. the rooms are barely adequate. carpeting is stale. the lighting in the bathroom is not great. my shower was actually dark! The dresser was broken inside and dirty, so I made no attempt to unpack my clothes. The offering of tiny soaps... More

My husband and I booked a package based on reviews we read. Staff are all more than happy to please. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and spotless. Dinner was "special". My husband had the lobster and mango salad appetizer, the haddock as an entree and apple crumble with caramel sauce and ice cream for dessert. I had mussels... More

My sister booked this location for her wedding reception. Beautiful venue. It was impressive how the management and staff were accommodating, helpful, polite, and sincerely concerned and interested in making the wedding reception a success. The food served buffet style was delicious...rave reviews about the pork and beef. The guests who stayed in the cabins at the end of the... More
