The place was beautiful. The surroundings magical. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast exceeded all expectations! It was a great weekend get away and a great place to stay!

My sister and I booked to go ziplining at night closeby. We checked in and the hosts recommended the local restaurants and happily offered to leave out a flashlight for us for our return to get out to the gazebo afterward to see the meteor shower. Lucy made a wonderful breakfast and it was very nice speaking with them. We... More

A beautiful home with welcoming hosts that go the extra mile to make you comfortable. The yard is exceptional -well landscaped with a gazebo and orchards. The pond even has koi. The hostess is an artist and it shows in her culinary skills. We enjoyed delicious food with excellent presentations. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. There is... More

Stayed for one night on a last minute decision. The inn and grounds were beautiful and the rooms well appointed. The bedrooms are on the second floor and had their own common area with books, music, and TV. Lucy and Steve were very accommodating. I was the only one there this past weekend, and Lucy got up early to cook... More

I really had a wonderful time staying with Lucy and Steve. Their house is quite beautiful and even though I could not be there in summer, they had a nice photo book to show me what I was missing. Good company, good atmosphere, delicious food, great location, beautiful city and a comfortable stay. I definitely want to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed this B&B in May 2014. It was very clean and welcoming with extras such as complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee, soft drinks for the evening. The breakfast was well above the standard fare, and it was excellent. We could not be more comfortable there and will definitely return. To top it off, there is a hammock and... More

This was the perfect setting for our situation. The common space upstairs makes this place 100 times better than any hotel. We were able to relax and watch TV comfortably as if we were in our own home. The grounds are beautiful, the breakfasts were outstanding and our hosts (Lucy and Steve) were fantastic. We would go back in a... More

We had a great stay. Short but sweet and very relaxing. A perfect location for our weekend adventure to Port Dover/Turkey Point/Long Point. Breakfast was a bit eclectic but fun and the bed was super comfortable. Lovely grounds and gardens.

From the minute we pulled up to this beautiful house in the country to the time we rode away, we were treated as more than just guests. Our 2 night stay at this unique B & B was made special by our hosts Steve & Lucy who made us feel more like at home than any hotel. The luscious green... More

Lucy and Steve, who run the St Johns Bed and Breakfast in Simcoe, encourage their visitors to think of their B&B as a 'home from home'. Their place really does live up to this ethos. The house itself is beautiful, both on the outside with its beautiful garden all around it (Steve's work), and on the inside, where it has... More
