Falcon Crest Lodge by CLIQUE receives high marks for its clean, spacious rooms featuring full kitchens and often boasting remarkable views; although, a few guests have noted signs of wear and the distraction of renovation work. The hotel's staff earn accolades for their warm and professional service, contributing significantly to the overall welcoming atmosphere.
While opinions on value vary, with some criticism aimed at service speed and dining options, the convenient location near Canmore and Banff, along with praised amenities like hot tubs, generally leave guests feeling satisfied with their stay.

If you are looking for more then just a room to stay then this is your place. You get a lot more then just the one basic room with a mini fridge and small bathroom. The benefits are that you get your own fully stocked kitchen (they even brought a blender to our room upon request), a nice living room sitting area with a fireplace, separate bedroom and closet and a full size bathroom.
The kitchen area has a stove/oven, full fridge and a dishwasher. Enjoy some complimentary coffee and tea that they provide. Don't worry about dishwasher or dishes soap as they provide that as well. There are a few bar stool type chairs along the counter to sit at as well as a table with two chairs and a wall bench (fits four easily). The living room has a couch, smart TV and fireplace as well as access to a patio which has a BBQ.
The bed is comfortable and is made daily for you (the sheets stay for 3 days in order to help environmentally but can be changed daily upon request). There is a nice bench in the room perfect for putting the luggage on as well as a full size closet which also has 2 housecoats for you to enjoy as you lounge around the space.
The bathroom has a full size tub...big enough for even a 7 foot person to enjoy as well as a large shower with a rain style shower head and other options for back sprays. The bathroom comes with the standard shampoos, conditioners and soaps but also has extra touches like epson salts to enjoy for your bath. In the bathroom, there is a closet which has a washer and dryer and of course they supply you with some laundry detergent.
There is underground parking and as a special bonus they have a pressure washer to clean your car...this is a bonus in the winter as your car will likely be covered in all the dirt and salt from the roads. Parking stalls are narrower but there is lots of parking spaces available. If you have skis or snowboards they have special caged locker areas that can be used to store your stuff. There is only one elevator up from the parkade....to save yourself multiple trips they have luggage carts you can borrow to carry all your luggage up to your room
The cardio room has an elliptical, exercise bike and tread mill and also is the access point to the hot tub area.
The staff are all really friendly and willing to help (even if you are requesting a blender to make a morning smoothie). They also send you emails in advance to let you know things that are helpful before coming, they check in with you during your stay (a phone call to the room to make sure all is as expected) and then follow up email and survey to make sure your stay was pleasant.

We were very impressed with this location for a quick getaway to the Rocky Mountains. During this time of COVID, facility had many features in place to make guests feel comfortable and safe from lovely local hand sanitizer by Rocky Mountain Soap company, check in tables at a distance, and even a basket for pens that were unused. We stayed in a one bedroom unit with a kitchen that had a stove, tiny bar fridge and microwave. Plenty of dishes available to us, but a bit short on cooking utensils. Bed was soft and bathroom very clean.
Ammentiies were not available as pools were still closed, but were given coupon for Chinese restaurant on site that was super yummy! Canmore is a walkable location and access to many walking trails are minutes away or a short drive. This was a perfect location for a weekend getaway for my husband and I.

We recently booked a weekend trip at the Falcon Crest and we're definitely not disappointed. Upon arrival the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Upon entry to the rooms we could tell right away that it had been thoroughly cleaned and I felt very comfortable settling in right away despite my covid concerns. Stunning rooms with all the amenities you could ask for, we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It didn't feel like a hotel because we got a two bedroom suite. The suite had a living room, full kitchen with new appliances, in-room stackable washer/dryer, and two en-suite bathrooms. This afforded us plenty of space for four people. Housekeeping was exceptional. Parking was underground and free. We never had a hard time finding a spot. The only request I would have is that they have a locker room for skis and equipment. This would have been super helpful.

Thank you for your review and awarding Falcon Crest Lodge top marks; much appreciated. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and got to use the amenities. I assume you were not aware that we do in fact offer storage lockers for ski equipment that are located in the underground parking, as ski equipment is not permitted in the rooms. I will ensure that our front desk teams are informing guests about this amenity upon check in. Thank you again for your feedback and we look forward to hosting you again soon! We booked a babymoon package with Falcon Crest as a nice getaway before the first baby comes, and could not be happier with our stay here. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and the babymoon package was unforgettable. We especially loved the little towel folded animals they laid around the space! I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in Canmore: The service here rivals hotels that charge double what Falcon Crest does!

My wife and I had been wanting to spend some time in Canmore, and our anniversary seemed like a good excuse! We were seeking a quiet time to relax and "wing it", without any schedule or list of activities to hit. We were drawn to the Falcon Crest lodge by the location which is away from the "busyness" of the town, but still within an easy walk, bike ride or drive to anything we wanted to see or do. The rooms being equipped with kitchenettes or full kitchens, as well as a bbq on every balcony gave us the freedom to stay in or go out as we wished, and the beauty of the mountain scenery all around with the fireplaces in every room made it a very quaint, cozy, place to enjoy a romantic couple of days. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is a bit different during this season of Covid, so we didn't attempt to use the hot pools, but one was open (the second was being upgraded) and the hotel had very good procedures and precautions in place throughout. Underground and above ground parking is available and the movie library was a nice touch (even though they were fresh out of popcorn). We stayed in a Deluxe room, but will probably bump up to a larger option next time. We look forward to our next visit!

I would highly recommend this hotel. Despite Covid restrictions, I felt safe with the level care and cleanliness and availability of hand sanitizer, etc. Although there wasn’t housekeeping during my stay, the staff at the front desk were accommodating to my requests of extra coffee and garbage bags. I stayed in a one bedroom suite and the room was exceptional and looked fairly new. The view of the mountains, fireplace and comfortable furniture helped make my stay a restful place to both work and relax. Two memorable things were the high end Fratello coffee available in the room and the exceptional water pressure in the shower. There was some traffic and train noise but not enough to be disruptive. The full kitchen allowed me to make or reheat food, which I especially appreciated during this time when I could not eat in restaurants. The room also included a washer and dryer which I took advantage of during my stay. Personally I like a very firm bed and found the bed to be a little soft, but I think it would be comfortable to most people. Free blue ray movies were available at the front desk and they even threw in a bag of microwave popcorn! With the current special with the third night free, the price was reasonable. Overall, I was very happy with my time here and plan to return again in the future. I have already recommended it to another couple.

I had a great stay for 5 nights. I found the staff very friendly and accommodating with helpful suggestions. I had asked for a certain floor request and the hotel was happy to accommodate this (versus some places with the "we will see what we can do"). All my experiences with staff were very positive - and in this time of limited contact, that really helped my sense of well being. I had a one bedroom with full kitchen which made being able to stay COVID safe easier. The kitchen was well appointed. The fireplace was a nice treat. The hotel is in a good location for walking to a couple of coffee/food places (10 minutes) and really not that much further to Main Street (20 minutes walk). I am looking forward to booking another stay next month. The little extras helps like the garage car wash .

Location was good, but there was some noise during the day for some maintenance outside the lodge.
Good kitchen with all kitchenware you need, BBQ in patio was really good to quickly prepare a meal if you wish.
With covid-19 there is no cleaning for the whole stay, and at the end they charged my credit card since they need to do extra cleaning of the room, this is disappointing especially that I called the hotel, and they responded with a promise of a call from the manager to explain this charge and they never call back!
Moreover, clogged toilet two times, and they asked me to fix it as they just left the tool outside my room, and I had to ask them to fix it as it’s not expected from me to fix an issue with their room

Dear Guest, We are so sorry your experience at the Falcon Crest Lodge caused some disappointment. As previous reviews show, this is not our usual standard of service. As we navigate these unprecedented times and as our new General Manager transitions into his role at Falcon Crest, we are reviewing the service procedures and the safety of our guests and staff. A refund of the additional cleaning charge has been refunded, however may take 3 to 5 business days for your bank to process. Cleaning or Stayover service will be given only if requested by guests and we will ask guests to vacate the room for theirs and our team's safety. We look forward to hosting you again in the future, when things get back to a normal standard or when our new General Manager has implemented new safety and service procedures. Thank you, Monica Derzaph, Guest Service Manager

The stores we shop at are about a 5-10 minute drive away. Easy drive and great big super markets. There is a grill on each deck. It is a wonderful place! We return each year.

No incentive that I am aware of. I wrote because we were very happy with our experience, and it was my way of “thanking” the hotel. We had not stayed there before, so I was not sure what it would be like, exactly. We will stay there again.
Hi Becky,
Our apologies about the delayed response. Our hot tubs are open daily from 9 AM - 10:30 PM, and we are limiting it to 4 people for 30 minutes.
Sincerely,
Team FCL
