I stayed on the train side. I brought a white noise machine, so the train did not wake me in the mornings.

The view from the room was beautiful. It was the best part. The hotel needs a refresh. The bed was uncomfortable and sank in. The bathroom had a urine smell that I could no

We took the spontaneous decision to spend the night here after seeing a great offer in trip advisor!
The room was clean, not fancy but we'll equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker and all toiletries.
It has a pool with a toboggan ideal for kids!
We had a train tracks view and

Definitely not amazing, but for a weekend it will do. It needs an update for sure. Both mornings it took about 10 minutes of running the water to finally get it hot for a shower. Shower curtains need to be replaced, they are no longer water resistant, so expect the bathroom floor

The Hotel itself is a good one. The rooms are wery wide and comfortable, and it deserves even an excellent rate. The problem is the near be railroad and the train that wake you up very early in the morning.

Response from Companion781777, Manager at Canmore Inn & Suites
Responded Oct 31, 2018
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We understand the trains can be a problem which is why all room types are split into 2, the Railway Side and Road Side. For guest who are light sleepers we highly recommend booking a room on the road side of the hotel as it is the quietest. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall and we look forward to your next visit. Sincerely, Dominic Carufel Operations Manager

Is the hotel pet friendly?
Sorry Marilyn, we were on an organised tour so no one had animals, so I can’t answer that question directly. I didn’t see anyone with animals, but that is not to say that it isn’t pet friendly. The best thing would be to phone them and check. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
