We stayed here at a VRBO for 4 nights in May 2022. The rooms are really nice and very large. The price was a bit more than I expected but we had stayed here before and liked the hot tub and pool area and knew that the rooms were great. Our room had a few minor items that needed fixing but none were that important and didn't affect our enjoyment. I would stay here again

Brandon was able to find us a suite very last minute when our other booked resort turned out to be totally unacceptable! He couldn’t do enough for us!! Many thanks to him!! The resort is clean, beautifully appointed and very comfortable! The resort is very quiet, the pool and hot tub are cleaned several times a day and grounds nicely kept. The kitchen has everything you would need! It really is a beautiful resort and we can’t wait to go back!!!

We have stayed a number of times at Stoneridge during the summer months and last stayed in 2019. There were major issues with our accommodation (2 bedroom plus den unit). There was a leak from the air conditioning unit in the ceiling and pieces of the ceiling were falling on the floor. When we were out for the day after having maintenance

We have stayed at Stoneridge many times over the years and I'm unlikely to stay again. Let's tick off those stars: -1 star: for room service every 3 days. Ratty and worn towels, very dirty halls and the robes are gone. Guests are expected to take trash to the parkade level, and don't expect your neighbors to be conscientious. At more than $300CAD/night, really? -1 star: for badly maintained rooms. Cracked and broken tiles in both kitchen and bathroom. Fireplace that would intermittently turn off and could not be resolved. Dishwasher missing easily replaceable and installable parts. -1 Star: A misshapen living room rug that was a serious tripping hazard. -1 Star: Although some of the front desk personnel were knowledgeable, some seemed to be surprised by what I would deem typical hotel guest requests. I would have expected "where to get a COVID test in Canmore compliant with return to USA?" to be on a sheet of paper to be handed to guests. -2 stars: Cleaning the parkade with internal combustion power cleaners that produce carbon monoxide and required the entire garage to be closed down. Electric powered scrubbers would have allowed portions of the garage to be taken offline for cleaning, would not have denied the guests access to the garage, would have allowed the hotel to maintain parking for disabled, wouldn't have required elongated airing out. Guests were essentially told to fend for themselves for street parking, where none was to be had. 5 minus 6 gives you minus 1 stars. These failures are emblematic of a careless management that understaff and fails to train the staff. Simply not worth the price.

Inexperienced staff gave us occupied room. Freezing in the room cuz thermostat reads 23C when it is 16C. Cheap appliances. Coffee maker didn't work. Go buy your own, cuz they will bring you another one THAT DOESN'T WORK. Hobbit sized coffee mugs. Bring your own TOWELS. Oh and bring weapons as you will need to fight to the death for a parking spot. You get the same views and crappy execution for hundreds $$ cheaper at the Super 8. Don't book here.

We arrived with the intention of spending time with the Grandkids at the pool during their spring break. The pool was "unavailable" due to an accident and could or could not be open the next morning, After asking for a discount on our $450.00 nightly bill an adamant NO was given. After asking more than once it was still no. The room was a full condo, something that was never disclosed to us and was unnecessary for 2 of us at an overnight stay. The underground parking garage is low, please be careful

We have previously stayed here in 2020 and decided to stay here again for my birthday weekend. I sent them an email and asked that they put us on the higher floor. They responded saying they will try their best. Not only did they gave us the top floor, but they gave us one of the best suites, a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom suite that sleeps 6 (we paid for 1 and 1). I was absolutely amazed and so happy with the beautiful room we got. Thank You for making this an amazing birthday weekend.

My family and I recently spent 6 nights at this resort. Previously, I had spent some time at the Stoneridge in 2017 and have fond memories of that visit. The resort was operated by Clique Hotels at the time and was immaculate. I can’t think of a single negative thing about that visit. The resort very much presented as being clean and well maintained and the service was excellent. While the resort is still in good condition it is visibly more run down than it used to be. The carpets on the floors are worn and faded. The pool area is missing tiles that haven’t been replaced. The hot tub’s jets don’t work properly. While the resort is still generally pleasant it doesn’t have the pristine look to it that it used to and appears to be falling into disrepair. The housekeeping service has gone downhill considerably. Rooms are no longer refreshed daily but now every 3 days “due to Covid-19.” One of the side effects of this is that many guests leave bags of garbage outside in the hallways as housekeeping isn’t collecting the garbage regularly. This results in an unpleasant experience when returning to your unit. One final irritant was the “resort fee.” We prepaid for our stay in full. However, upon checking in we were advised that there would be an additional resort fee that we must pay. I was provided no explanation for why this additional fee was required. I reviewed all of the reservation confirmation emails I received from the Stoneridge prior to our arrival and could find no mention of this mysterious fee or why or it wasn’t included with the rest of the expenses. I understand there are some extra expenses in the hospitality industry but this felt a little underhanded. All in all we had a good stay at the Stoneridge Resort. The rooms were spacious and generally clean. The pool and hot tub were nice however there were periods were both were out of service. We may stay again.

Do NOT stay in room 117 of this resort or probable on the first floor in general. There is a coffee shop that opens at 07:30 and they insist on propping the cafe door open so that all the noise of customers, espresso machines and general kitchen clatter will reverberate through out your suite. I have asked them to close the door to the hallway, which is also a safety concern because you can walk right off the street through the cafe to the first floor without a card key, but they refuse to close it even though there is a plate in it that days PUSH. Most people can read and have the ability to push open the door. I have asked management to have them close the door but was told it is a separate entity to the hotel. I told management about my concerns for safety to have my concerns fall on deaf ears. Very poor customer service and Safety is always and should be a priority to any hotel.

We have stayed at Stoneridge many times when Clique resorts owned it. It was sold to a different company a few months ago and I am sorry to say I won't be going back. The room was clean"ish", there were cup and food stains on the living room side tables, the fireplace didn't work, they only gave us two towels for our whole family, the amenities like soap, shampoo, etc were terrible, they definitely downgraded the quality. I tried calling the front desk when we arrived to ask for towels and to get the fireplace fixed but no one answered. I called from my own phone and no one answered. I eventually had to go down to the housekeeping area to ask for towels. no one ever fixed the fireplace. Upon arrival the staff were definitely not as friendly as the old staff when Clique owned it, it was very much a business transaction, not a welcome to returning guests. To top it off when I saw my charge on my credit card when I got home they charged me an extra "resort fee" on top of the resort fee that I was originally charged. I called to ask about this, even read to them my original confirmation contract which stated that the resort fee was included. He didn't care. He also didn't care when I expressed my concerns about our stay there. If I hadn't stayed there when it was owned by Clique I supposed it would be a nice place, but it has definitely gone downhill in quality.
