The Grandview Chalet offered a much needed two day break for my partner and I. We were delighted to find out this B&B is on the opposite side of the valley from the highway and railroad tracks. A few key points we want to post here: 1. It's located in a treed neighborhood, an easy 20-minute walk to downtown. It...

Loved my room especially the mattress which was super comfortable. There were plugs galore for charging, a private bathroom with products from Rocky Mountain Soap Company and the breakfasts are divine - oven baked apple pancake, fresh fruit parfaits with baked eggs, juices...Look for home baked cookies. There's a good stack of books and a comfortable area for reading outside...

We stayed 3 nights in September (I am a little bit late with my review).. Situated just outside the center of Canmore (15 min walk) or 2 minutes drive (easy free parking in Canmore). Great room (clean, cozy), superb breakfast (owners are great cooks), nice surroudings and great atmosphere. The owners know a lot about the nature in the area...

15 minute walk into town to the lovely shops and restaurants. On offer at the lovely B & B is wonderful homemade cooking. Very informative owners Carol & Dwane. They recommended places to go and visit. Plenty of wildlife to see in the area. They only have two bedrooms so it is lovely and peacful. They have a washer and...

The rooms are clean and the bed was fantastic. The B&B was close to town. Just book this B&B you won't regret it Kevin & Karin The Netherlands

Just two rooms, separate from the hosts living quarters make for an intimate atmosphere. Everything is very done to make you feel a little spoiled: from the sheets on the beds to the high quality free coffee/tea and biscuits. Carol and Duane are lovely hosts who guided us to the best walks and served a good breakfast. All this without...

Very comfortable and clean with great additional shared lounge/breakfast/dining area and laundry facilities. We stayed 3 nights in July and the weather on arrival wasn't great ...... Carol and Duane clearly love both hosting and the outdoor life and made some helpful suggestions re our itinerary. Breakfasts were delicious - fresh fruit followed by a hot dish. The sun was...

The Grandview Chalet is a wonderful, friendly, top-notch B&B in Canmore. First of all - Canmore. If you want to avoid the massive numbers of tourists in Banff, choose lower-key Canmore, Banff's neighbor to the south and home to Kananaskis Country. Now to the the Grandview. Its a modern, clean, tasteful B&B in a residential development about a 5 minute...
