Rocky Mountain Escape offers private, secluded log cabin accommodation, and a variety of year-round, nature-oriented activities. The cabins are nestled amongst the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies, adjacent to Jasper National Park (east backcountry boundary) and vast, undeveloped Willmore Wilderness. We cater to folks looking for a quiet, scenic and non-touristy spot from which to enjoy our mountain environment.

Horses and employees were amazing. Be aware of other outfitters in area. Jon and Cindy are 100% legit and professional. Don't take chances on your trip of a lifetime. Book with them and sit back; let the adventure happen. Lazy Vu will make your dreams come true.

The warmth, attention to detail and gorgeous surroundings make this place truly unique (If you are thinking about booking - no need, just book! You honestly will not be disappointed) One of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed, in the absolute heart of nature - amongst the wildlife, and away from the hordes or tourists. I will absolutely be back if I visit Canada again!

We had a fantastic time as a family at Rocky Mountain escape. Properly away from it all with wildlife literally at your doorstep. Laura was a fantastic host and the food was delicious :-) We managed to cross country ski and snow shoe despite our very young kids and enjoyed the remoteness with no phone reception or internet! Helps you recharge and remember what's important. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for wilderness combined with comfort as the cabins are really comfortable

Laura and her crew put everything into making our 2 night stay at RME an experience, not just a couple of nights. Memorable and refreshing. Spent one morning touring Rock Lake which is a jewel set in the crown of the Rockies. Our hostess was our naturalist as well as our guide. Cabins are monumental and so clean.

We were Laura's guests for one week this August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For lack of time, I will just say that it was a life-changing experience to be away from everything and find true silence (except for the occasional squirrel sound, the rustle of trees in the wind, and the crackling of the fire in our wood stove) for several days. We read books, explored the wilderness on guided hikes with Laura and on our own, canoed on a glassy lake, and watched the Perseid meteor shower at night with some of the other guests. It took some getting used to -- no cellular signal, no ambient electronic or mechanical sounds -- but at the end, we were rested, rejuvenated, and thankful that such a place exists.
