A motel type configuration with some suites being owned but in a rental pool, we decided to book in with this affordable option for our lat October winery tour. We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a lake front view. The lake front view units are off the road and the unit was fairly quiet although someone above us was...

Desert Surfside Waterfront is an ideally situated property on the waterfront. We stayed in a two bedroom corner unit with great views of the lake. There was a kitchenette, gas fireplace, TV, and even a gas BBQ on the patio. Both bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage. There was only one bathroom which was en-suite to one bedroom (using...

Recently returned from a quick weekend trip to the Okanagan and stayed at the Desert Surfside. We have stayed before and chose to stay again because of the location, clean rooms and property, and good value compared to some other properties on Main Street. We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit which was not large but certainly adequate for 2...

We stayed here in early October and paid $85, taxes included, for a one bedroom studio suite. The good: friendly, helpful owner, super clean, our suite had full size fridge, stove and microwave, fully equipped kitchen, access to bbq area, two decent size flat screens, easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs and scenic walking area, short 2 minute drive to...

Great location on the water with a private beach. Nice to have a kitchenette. There's a BBQ available with ample tools. The air conditioner was quite noisy. I would recommend this inn, great value. The New Leaf Cafe on Main Street is a great place for breakfast.

My wife and I wanted to get away for a weekend in wine country so decided to go to Osoyoos. We decided on the Desert Sufside because the price was right (quite affordable and about half the price of several other motels in the area). We were going to arrive late and the staff called us to let us know...

Great hotel , located right on the beach . Rooms don't all have beach view ! They provided bbqs that you can use and then you can have your meal at the beachfront tables . Cozy , well equipped kitchens , beds are comfortable and clean. Would go back !

This is either a destination hotel (staying there over a time period) or a traveling pit stop. My wife and I were traveling to and from Alberta from the lower mainland. 2 nights, once each way. Looking for a decent hotel at a reasonable price. Ding! Ding! Ding! A very pleasant stay. A/C worked, WiFi easy to set up, Quiet!,...

Love this place, the location is excellent right on the beach. The manager is superb and they have thought of everything right down to providing beach umbrellas. Spend the extra and get 2 bedroom lake front unit.

We had a junior suite and it was perfect for our needs. Place was nicely laid out and spotless. Second floor was no problem, there is an elevator but we found the stairs no trouble. The beach was so clean and pristine. We loved having morning coffee on the beach relaxing on a complimentary beach lounger. Staff were friendly and...
