Soooo packed in! But, right across from the lake with a nice little Beach. Owners do have loud, late parties but seemed to quiet down by 11p. Tiny pool. The worst part for us were the Shower Facilities. No privacy! Half of the tiny stalls didn’t even have a hook for towels, clothes etc. Felt like a college dorm where you have to dress right out in the open. NOPE! We won’t return, not for $85 a night!

We booked in advance for our 1 month stay May 26 to June 28, 2019. The resort was virtually empty of people except for a few full-timers and retirees. The grounds, pool, laundry facilities, common areas, and beach are all immaculately maintained. Lori the Manager goes above and beyond making herself available by cell phone at all times, and making sure all tasks are completed even if she has to do it herself. The sites are narrow and some of the rental sites may have furniture or gazebos in them making them too small to fit some units. The resort is within very easy biking and easy walking distance from shopping, restaurants and bars. All around we enjoyed our stay and will book for the same time next year. Note: There are many family groups who own lots with large outdoor kitchens and I imagine the place would be extremely busy in the summer.

My husband and I have been coming here since 2008. In the beginning we loved it. Yes, the sites are tight, but the resort was well managed and always clean. We have seen several managers come and go and all did a great job. Recently the resort has decided to abolish managers onsite. Big Mistake!! This is no longer a pleasant park to holiday in, unless you like unsupervised kids running around long into the evenings with parents partying and drinking way past the 11:pm downtime. The majority of the sites are sold and many of the owners seem to think that this is their personal party site. One of the nights on our last stay was brutal. Several of the "owners" were partying on a site beside us and as the evening wore on the noise level got louder and louder. There was a complete disregard for the other people in the resort. At 12:45 am we approached the site and asked them to quiet down as no one was getting any sleep. At 1:30 am they finally stopped. This might be the norm for a bush party campsite but when you are paying top prices for a site, not acceptable. These incidents happen quite frequently when we have booked here. This resort needs a full time onsite manager. The office staff , especially Lori, are great, but It seems that the Walton Group is only concerned with their bottom line. We have stayed in many RV resorts, with parties, kids and lots of good times. Waltons is way too expensive for a bush party. Save your money.

We are here on a fall camping trip. It's nice and quiet this time of year. Nothing for ammenities as pools are closed but a nice peaceful time...good rates this time of year. I would recommend it for late travellers...

We booked this resort for a few nights June 30-July3. Given that it was the July long weekend, we expected it to be full. What shocked us was the tight lots. We have never been to a resort that has felt so uncomfortably tight, literally like sardines in a can. Aside from this, it was clean, including the pool area and washrooms. Short walk to the beach, literally the other side of the road.
