Stayed during a 12 hour layover between flights. Wonderful we were able to check in early! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, but we walked 10 minutes down the road to a strip mall with an excellent dim sum restaurant. There's also a Shoppers Drug Mark in the same mall, which is convenient for last-minute items. Small shop near hotel reception with beverages, snacks, and some microwavable meals. The room is well equipped with coffee maker, safe, wall mounted toiletries (Dove brand), noise canceling machine, ironing board, and a clock.

Room was comfortable - lots of accessible electric and USB outlets. Bed was good, bathroom was clean. Nothing fancy but everything was clean and in great condition. Service was outstanding. Cam let me check in early and remembered my name when I checked out the next day.

Had really a great time here. All the staffs were very accomodating. The room was high class with a affordable price. We really had a great time here. The experience given to us was something will make us go back. Thank you, holiday inn! You are soooo great.

The hotel is really nice, it is clean, the bed is really comfortable , the pillows our large and soft , they have coffee and tea in the room , large tv . The staff our very helpful , if you need to leave the car to travel , they will let you for a fee. They have a shuttle to and from the airport included in the price of the room.

I was feeling ill during my stay and had to call the front desk for assistance. Wally was the gentleman I spoke to and he was just the sweetest, he made me feel comforted and care for. Everyone I spoke to from check in to check out were just spectacular I want to thank each of them, Michelle, Cam, Kendrick, Yuan and Aloka. Each and every one of you made my stay just that much better.

Very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful, rooms were clean, breakfast was phenomenal, and the indoor pool was the cherry on top. There is ample free parking as well. We would definitely stay again.

It is a standard hotel and good service. Pros: Free airport pick up which is very convenient Staff are working professionally Eating around is easy Cons: No views for the room and the train/highway may be noisy for some rooms. It would be nice to have public transport so that we can explore Richmond more.

Being a diamond IHG member they offer a lot to you like free parking, free American breakfast and room upgrade. The front desk is polite and proactively offer you benefit. The room is clean and big, heater also work very well and withstand cold weather in raining day.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. We are also greatful that they offer a parking service for your car just in case you need to fly somewhere like we did and had to be gone for a month. They are the only one in the area that offer or lets you park your car for more than 2 weeks in their secured parking for a reasonable price. Location is very convenient too as it is only right across Costco and a very nice chinese restaurant. Very near the airport as well with shuttle service. The staff are very helpful and accomodating as well in answering all our queries from the time that we are still inquiring regarding the parking up to the time we finally made our reservations to our arrivals and departures. All in all it was such a great experience and will definitely come back again if we are in the area.…

Was treated very poorly by the front desk staff. Will not be staying at a Holiday Inn again. I guess if you are not in business attire but in t-shirts, jeans and Converse, they can treat you however they want. One female front desk worker even told the other staff to go check our room right in front of us as we were checking out. They were so rude to us the whole stay and we will never give them our business ever again.

Dear E1323VBnicolel, I'm sorry you felt disrespected in any way during your check-out process. It is standard industry procedure to do a room check before returning a cash/debit deposit. This has absolutely nothing to do with the clothing you're wearing, and everything to do with the fact that we did not have a valid credit card attached to the reservation. (Yes, this is the same procedure we apply to those wearing formal attire as well) From a business standpoint, we need to make sure the room is in acceptable condition before returning a cash or debit deposit. If a guest were to incur any damages to the room during their stay, the hotel can still charge a credit card for any damages or missing items after check-out. If there is no credit card on file, then of course this is not possible. Hence the reason we have to inspect the room before returning your damage deposit. We must make sure there are no damages. I hope this concept makes sense. This would have been mentioned to you at check in. If you would like to discuss this further, please don't hesitate to get in contact with us. We certainly hope to welcome you back one day, and give us another chance to provided you with the high level of customer service our guests have come to expect over the years.
