Quaint, clean, affordable accommodation in the heart of Steveston, the most interesting area of Richmond. Only steps away from several good restaurants, cafes and boats offering fresh fish for sale. The Hotel could use a few mechanical/ technical upgrades, but everything is still functional.

Great ocean stroll location and quaint shops and restaurants set in an amazing old building. Little expensive for what you get, needs updating and air conditioning. Very stifling hot in the rooms, front room was loud but offered nice view of downtown.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 6 nights. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Staff was great. Cleaning staff were exceptional, going out if their way to accommodate my requests. The room prices are very reasonable. The location is perfect for sight-seeing Steveston as it is located in the middle of everything. The restaurant is very good especially... More

This hotel is amazing can't complain great price compared to any other hotel in Richmond. Yes it is old hotel but don't expect it to be a Marriott. The hotel is a 100 year old. And that's the beauty in being in Steveston because the village is old but modern at the same time just like the room it's been... More

Took my 2 daughters to Steveston on their Spring Break because we knew they would be filming the TV show Once Upon A Time. Booked a room at the Steveston Hotel because I knew it was right there on Moncton St where the show is taped. The good: Free parking if staying at the hotel & if you're coming while... More

The Steveston Hotel is a quaint old hotel in the heart of Steveston, Richmond, BC. It has a lot of character due to the age of the hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We had an economy room with a shared bathroom, but no other guests to share it with which was ideal. For the price, the quality... More

I had not stayed in a high ceilinged old style hotel since I was a student and stayed at the Yates Hotel in Victoria. It was fun to relive the experience of staying in an old time hotel with grand window dressings, solid wooden furniture and a shared bath. As pointed out by previous reviewers, this hotel is old and... More

We revisited the hotel for a second time. The man at the front let us know that karaoke was on that evening and helped us with a quieter room. It was small but very clean and pleasant. Morning coffee at the downstairs restaurant. I just want to say that the staff is just incredible! Hotel and restaurant!!! We will always... More

We stayed in the room with jet tub. It was very nice and clean. I know some people have reported a musty smell but we didnt find that at all. We arrived around dinner. The gentleman at the front desk let us look at a couple rooms to decide which one we preferred. The next day we had breakfast downstairs.... More

The hotel is old n hasnt been renovated in recent years. I believe it used to serve seamen from the fishing industry. It is a no frill not fancy place but is relatively decent n cheap. I like the location because I'm from Seattle, I can avoid the traffic of downtown Richmond n especially Vancouver if I'm not spending a... More
