My husband and I visited this ranch hoping to have a great trail ride. Unfortunately it was far from that. Half way through the trail ride, my husband was thrown from his horse. The leader encouraged him to get back on and the horse proceeded to drag him about 50 ft when he tried to remount. In the end, they...

I recently received a birthday surprise with a visit to Broadleaf Guest Ranch. We went on a 2 hour trail ride. You can tell the horses are well taken care of and loved like a pet. The horses are calm and quiet and they appear healthy and quite content. Our guide Jenn was very knowledgeable and courteous. She took the...

What a great little getaway! This great ranch is but a mere 45 minute drive from town and it is well worth it! When you drive up to the ranch the stables are on your left and the ranch house and restaurant are on your right. We went for a two hour horse back ride on Ginger, Sally, Ray, and...

So.... we are staying tonight near Hopewell Rocks tonight - well worth a visit once in a lifetime to see the giant tides....but make no mistake, this place is the back of beyond! The restaurant at Broadleaf Guest Ranch was suggested to us as the best place reasonably close by to have dinner. We did not know what to expect...

We visited with 9 friends for a wedding. The mountain lodge where we stayed was a great setup for our group and the views from various areas were beautiful. The weather was nice and we really enjoyed having a fire each evening at the private outdoor fire pit. There was also a nice fireplace in the lodge. They also have...

We arrived as the Sunday brunch was finishing. We needed to wait about 20 minutes for lunch/dinner service. We were treated very nicely during the wait. The brunch looked to have good variety and quality, just not what we wanted at that time. I had the turkey dinner and husband had the hamburger. We were both pleased. They were helpful...

Great cowboy restaraunt with great seafood too. A good range of food selections and drinks. The Rattlesnake drink was Delish! Even gave me the recipe. All types of camping and horseback riding and guided tours. Quite the mix. Fun for everyone. Highly recommended this place. Staff very friendly and prices reasonable.

This places looks like a ranch house, that is a real ranch house, which is located on a fun looking tourist ranch with a RV camping site with cottages for rent which also offers horse back riding and hay rides. It looks like a very entrepreneurial establishment. But back to the food. Although the restaurant slash ranch house looks plain...

We were traveling along looking for a place and came across their sign. Pulled in and the only room they had left was in their Mountain Chalet. It is a 2km drive pat their campground and cabins...up into the mountains. There are 5 rooms in this chalet, and they all share the common living/kitchen areas. Huge deck overlooking the mountains...

Coastal scenery of magnificence awaits this journey. One has to be intentional in order to find this restaurant after Alma and driving toward Moncton. The perfect choice was a burger and fries which were delicious and generously presented. The huge building reminded me of a camp house which lacked inviting ambience. I would venture there again just for that hamburger!
