The bleu soleil campsite has gone into liquidation, from the look of the rest of the reviews we had a lucky escape - although not holding out any hope of getting our £600 back. Thought something was wrong when they failed to send out a booking confirmation, despite 3 phone calls requesting it. Shambles.

We stayed in this campsite in our own tent for only 2 nights, the manager was abusive and rude he actually tried to upturn our tent at nine oclock at night because i was talking on the phone, not nice for two girls, the night before our friends and their children were kept up till 3 in the morning due...

We went to bleu soleil campsite last year - and it doesn't surprise me at all to see all the complaints for 2011 about this place. Uncut grass, terrible tents that leak, disgusting toilet facilities, lazy, useless staff (the lady who "cleaned" the toilets was often suffering a hangover in the morning so was not really seen until about 11am)...

Ok - so I read all the reviews beforehand and went expecting the gates of hell to be the centrepoint of this campsite, guess what - they weren't. We went as a family of two adults, two kids (8 and 5) and two dogs. Let 's start with the negatives - Yes the tents are a little tired and the...

This campsite is the worst we have ever stayed at. Cramped conditions meant that we only just had enough room to put up our tent with guy lines overlapping in every direction. Luckily all our neighbours were very friendly, but you couldn't avoid noise being ten yards from Loughborough's rugby team. The showers were dreadful, a dribble rather than a...

The facilities on this campsite are rubbish. The heated swimming pool was cold and in need of a good clean, as were the toilets and shower facilities. The hot tub was not turned on as the chemicals hadn't been put in, which had to be done overnight. The adventure play ground consisted of a little tykes slide and climbing frame...

We arrived at the BleuSoleil Campsite to be shown our caravans. The caravans had not been cleaned thoroughly, so our first job was to visit the nearby shop as the one on the campsite does not really exist. We cleaned the caravans ans then settled in as this was not going to dampen our holiday. The overall campsite was overcrowed...

We camp alot at home all around devon and cornwall, therefore we've stayed in lots of different campsites, sadly blue soliel would come at the very bottom of our list. We are not fussy and do not look for top of the range campsites we are happy with basic but clean is a must. We chose blue soliel because of...

We have just returned from this campsite and must say we were hugley disappointed. We stayed in one of the new caravans ??? New in the 1960's perhaps but no where near the standard you expect in the 20th century. The caravan was tiny and absolutely filthy. The cooker did not work, there was no hot water and I could...

Bleu Soleil was sold to us as a family campsite, so we took our 6-year-old girl there for a family holiday to Jersey. Problems started the minute we arrived, when the tent they provided to us hadn't been cleaned, with someone else's rotting food in the coolbox. We asked to be moved, not a great start. We then had to...
