White beach is quite a rustic kind of place in terms of the design, the bungalows are constructed from the best quality wood and are all en suite, boasting huge shower room and western toilets, in separated rooms. Built in 2013, it is on what many people consider to be the best stretch of the beach because it is totally quiet and chilled day and night, however only a few hundred meters away from the main village of Koh Rong, where there are many bars and restaurants to choose from. The resort is set in its own landscaped gardens and also have a beautiful Bar and Restaurant on the beach - you would love to eat and chill here!

We stayed at White Beach for 1 month and a half during the covid crisis and had a great time. Ben was very responsive and helpful during the booking process and once we arrived on the Island. The bungalow we had (b14) was perfectly located as it faced the beach but also gave us privacy as it has a 20 step stairs leading to it. The rate we got per night was a real bargain and allowed us to stay long and enjoy the beautiful white sand beach in front of the hotel every day. The location was ideal for us as we could go to the Koh Toch village by walking only 10 min on the beach but also were away from its noise at night. The staff was very nice and provided good advice. The restaurant of the hotel was closed at that time but the nearby Tree House was a great option. Only annoying little things were that the wifi was not working most of the time (due to wifi company apparently) and there often was a bad smell in our bathroom.

The location is good if you want to stay close to the village but at the same want to have some kind of distance from the noise. We were staying in two different bungalows. The first one was beach front so the view was great but the standard was very low for the price we payed - felt a little bit like a cave - bad lightening in the evening. The other bungalow had a higher standard. The bathroom was better but still simple. The walls were white and took away the cave feeling. Could have enjoyed the very cozy balcony up in the trees if it wasnt for all the mosquitos. The staff was helpful but dont go with their recommended taxi driver if you like us are leaving for siem reap. He was looking more at this phone than the road.

I contacted the hotel before we arrived and they picked us up from the pier at no charge.

We were very happy with this quieter area of the beach and if you want more, you are within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants.

We were in a beachfront bungalow with a/c. The room lacked inside chairs, glasses, hangers, a kettle, water, or a place to put your suitcase. With a few simple add-ons, it may be worth the price they charge.

Cash only and we weren't able to charge to the room.

Not worth the price! Nice looking bungalows, but terribly mismanaged... Unfriendly and uninterested staff at reception apart from blond tall girl. Internet not working apart from reception area (we were not advised at time of booking), shower not draining properly. The bed and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable, bathroom room doesn’t close so you get smell from drainage in the room. Small windows within room allowing light and see through curtains so you wake up early. Staff talking loud outside bungalow at 7.30am.
For the price you pay ($80/night) you would expect some comfort and unfortunately it was not there.
The location is great, but the whole experience of staying there was ruined by above mentioned items...

Go for a double room in the village for €30/35 and you get better comfort including TV and more quiet to sleep...

At first glance White Beach bungalows looks glorious, well the location is anyway!
The accommodation is poor to say the least, the bedroom is shabby with pancake flat pillows, a basic mattress, unfinished paint work, dirt around the light switches and gaps in the floor!
The bathroom is even worse with a constant smell of sewage, decaying taps and towel hooks and a bathroom door that must have washed ashore, no wonder the bathrooms aren’t shown on their website!
Insult to injury was the $90 per night they were charging for 3 nights.
Better accommodation was available for $20 locally when we looked online in disbelief.
The staff apart from the tall blonde lady had a couldn’t care less attitude too.
Please look elsewhere for your stay in beautiful Koh Rong.

Cambodia is a developing country and has an almost unique culture. In Koh Rong you are on the edge of the jungle. Things will bite you, monkeys might pinch your knickers and departure times are flexible. Electricity and wifi are not always available. If this worries you Cambodia and Koh Rong are probably not for you. We booked direct with white beach and were contacted by David via WhatsApp. This was the start of a second to none service. At the last minute our flight was cancelled and we had to arrive 1 day early the adaptable David took it in his stride. He arranged pick up from Sihanoukville airport that took us to the port. The thoughtful David had also arranged our ferry with Buva Sea. When we arrived at the office they were expecting us and tickets/clear directions to the ferry were ready. This caring approach continued on arrival when a private service was there to meet us at the pier. Whilst on the island he was supportive in arranging the hire of a motorbike and a boat trip. Our room was on the beach and although in need of some renovation we were happy with it. The balcony was fantastic and spacious. The dedicated team clean the room if you ask the day before. The beach and grounds are cleaned every morning and throughout the day. The polished performance continues to the kitchen and restaurant/bar staff especially HU, his English is fantastic. The easygoing and supportive style means they are ready to chat or just get you another drink. Food and drink is well priced and this quiet end of the beach is close enough to be able to access everything without having to continuously endure the party noise. When we left our private service to the ferry and onward travel to Kampot was arranged and once again the trustworthy David delivered. The service I received from the team was unparalleled. Lerci x

This property was firmly good, but not great. Mostly as advertised, with AC and hot water. Well located both easy walking distance from town/ferry dock and other properties further north where we spent a lot of our time. Beautiful view from deck. Unlike other nearby properties there were no real amenities, e.g., restaurant, activities, beach chair area, etc. The bed was very uncomfortable and we were only given one small sheet that didn’t cover two people. I know it’s a hot climate but I still would like to have at least a light blanket. Towels were very thin/small/cheap and had no hand or face towels or bath mat. Shower is over the toilet essentially (like in an RV) which makes the whole bathroom a bit of a wet/dirty mess.

Other than these things it generally suited our needs and we probably got what we paid for in this case. If I were to return I’d probably book one of the higher end properties further north but that’s personal preference!

We stayed at the white beach bungalows for 3 nights. They are in a brilliant location on a beautiful quiet beach but close enough to the bars and restaurants. The bungalows themselves are clean and spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful. They even picked up our luggage from the dock which was very helpful. We’d also recommend eating at the resort, especially the evening BBQ.

We stayed here for 3 nights and pound for pound the is a nice place, I have no negatives, staff are friendly and it is kick back place to chill for a few days. Being an island there is enough interesting things to do and enough choices of food and drinks
People are relaxed and getting to and from the island easy. Best suited for a couples Getaway. The beaches are cleaned every day after high tide . Nice Clear and warm sea water.

Beautiful resort at the end of the village. It’s a lovely walk from the ferry pier as you walk through the village and then after the road ends, you walk in the sand. The resort provides a courtesy pick up of luggage via bike (see the video on the creative way they did this for us!).

The resosrt had rustic charm, the electricity is shut off twice a day for a couple of hours, If I recall: 11:30-13:30 and 16:30-18:00).

Make sure you put on your mosquito repellant as they feasted on me!

Mauticcio (Resport Manager) was fantastic, very friendly and helpful with advice. This applied to all of his team as well.

Switch off your troubles and spend time here - it was brilliant.

Dear guest White beach i located at the end north of Koh Tui (tuch) beach, from the pier is about 7 mints walk on the beach and this is opportunity for you to see the village and walk on the beach, but if you have a suitcase or big bags we will be happy to send our small supply boat to pick you up from the pier, and back to the pier when you leaving. Due the ferries tend to delay and coming late, to get this service please call us when you have already reached to Koh Rong. if you don't have local sim card you can ask the ferry staff to call us. +855969887476 (WhatsApp as well) - Important: if you want to travel smart and light you can leave your big luggage at our mainland office and collect it when you back from the island.
