The trip we did to Lonely Beach was not planned at all. From Sihanoukville Pier we stopped at Koh Rong Main Port first and some people told us to see SokSan Village as it's only take 30 minutes to get there compared to Lonely Beach which takes about 2hrs, but trust me, it is so worth it to go to...

No words to describe! Most important facts were already told in previous ratings. No matter if young or old... If you want to calm down and relax that's the best place. Back to basics - simply paradise! I extended my 2 days reservation up to 2 weeks... no words needed....

We had a very odd stay here: Indeed the boat ride is long (3hrs) and uncomfortable and the captain was dozing off. However we were greeted with a welcome drink before being taken to the beautiful crafted by bungalows. Indeed, the attention to details and décor is lovely and the beach is stunning and clean(!). Clearly it is run by...

Dear TripAdvisor readers, Indeed we would like to give our point of view on this odd review, As mentioned on our website it is -indeed- a long boat ride on a traditional long tail to reach our secluded beach all the way in the north of the island. Our captain seems to close his eyes during the trip but if...

Lonely beach is a fantastic place to chill out completely. A beautiful beach; very, very quiet; simple bungalow and super friendly hosts; and a sweet cat. No electricity but solar power; bucket showers. Slow internet (3g). Highlights: the plankton at night; and snorkling trip. The trip (boat) to the island can be a bit rough for people with seasickness and...

Hi , thank you for your nice review and taking your time doing it. Good to hear that you enjoyed your stay. I like to grab that chance and respond to a topic I was reading in a other review to. The captain is smoking a lot , yes. But there is NO gasoline around him. Only one fresh water...

Definitely stay here. This place is incredible. I visited for 3 nights with 3 friends. After an 'interesting' 3 hr boat journey on an old fishing boat, we arrived in paradise. A deserted beach, with no buildings in sight. We were greeted by the owners and welcomed with drinks before being shown to our bungalow, simple but adequate, and completely...

My fiancé and I have visited a couple beaches in Sianoukville and Koh Rong Samloen, but Lonely Beach is by far the whitest sand and clearest water we have experienced yet. It's a chill place, and if you want to rave all night on the mountain, that is possible, too. We preferred romantic nights in the oceanfront bungalow, falling asleep...

Pros: * Denny is the consummate host. What a great guy, who loves what he does. * The staff is gracious and helpful. * Amazing location, if you like tropical jungle and remote beach. Loved the serenade of frogs at night and the amazing butterflies. Swimming was lovely and especially enjoyed the big swing on the beach. * Food was...

This place is magical. It's completely isolated, there's no running water and limited electricity and it's absolutely perfect. We stayed one night on Tui Beach on the South side of the island before arriving here and what an incredible difference. Tui is where the backpacker party is at, which is fun if you're into it, but horrible if you're not....

You will kick yourself if you love the 'paradise deserted island' holiday vibe.... One of the only completely unspoiled places left in the Cambodian islands, the resort is a true eco resort and respects the need to keep this special place intact. Good points: -The service: the resort is run by two amazing guys, who did everything in their power...

Wow!!!!!!!!!! This place is incredible. Arriving to such a remarkable sight left my wife and I rather speechless. The beach is amazing. White sand. Crystal clear, warm water. I've never seen anything like it. It's the closest to paradise i've ever been. The snorkelling was amazing and the night plankton was something that will stay with me for ever. The...
