Wow ! What to say ! A piece of paradise! A magnificent beach, few people, spaced out deckchairs, a 180° view of the beach and the sea from the beachfrontrooms. Incredibly white sand, beautifully decorated rooms (the difference in price ($60) between the beachfront and the executive beachfront is not justified: in the executive beachfront, we are 10 meters closer to the sea, there is also , just a bathtub in the outdoor bathroom and a daybed in the bedroom). We eat very well at Secret Garden, with reasonable prices and a nice happy hour. The massages are great and we rented a scooter to go around the island for $15 (including gas). FYI, to go see the bioluminescent plankton, no need to pay for the $10 boat trip...you just need to go swimming at night in front of the hotel, walk 20 meters, turn to the opposite of the hotel and the magic appears...not many people seem to know it, because we were the only ones in the water each night. A big thank you to all the staff for their welcome and kindness. A great moment of happiness with a few tears in the corners of your eyes when you have to leave.

This is paradise! We spent a total of 10 days in this wonderful resort. Everything was outstandingly beautiful! The beach seems to be cleaned and maintained all day long. It is so fine and beautiful that it squeaks when you walk on it. The water is so blue-green! It is the Seychelles of Cambodia. The small bungalows are super nice. The beds are really good! There is free coffee and coffee every day, the rooms are cleaned quickly and daily and there is as much fresh water in glass bottles as you want. There is happy hour from 5 p.m. and the cocktails Alex makes are incredibly delicious! The food - whether at lunch or dinner - is super delicious. There is a large selection of local Khmer food, fish, meat, burgers and snacks. I fell in love with the Loklak. Breakfast is reduced, but we still didn't get bored. I could have eaten the noodle soup for breakfast every day, it was so delicious. I even make it every day at home now ;). There is also fresh fruit, toast and jam with the 4-6 a la carte breakfasts on offer. It was perfect for us. The coffee was delicious and the green tea was heavenly. The Christmas dinner was really nice. Everything was decorated festively and beautifully and we had an unforgettable evening! The staff are extremely friendly, always there for you and everyone speaks excellent English. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend the hotel 100%! The only thing to complain about, which is not the hotel's fault, are the sand fleas/sand flies, which bit me a lot. Make sure you take mosquito spray with you!!! The hotel also sells coconut oil! I've found that this works best in combination with DEET!

Our stay at The Secret Garden was everything we hoped for; from the location on the island, the amazing rooms directly on the beach, the incredible good food to the fantastic people (shout out to Srey Nan, Vanny and Mean - and the team).
The beach is kept clean on a daily basis and the use of kayaks and SUP boards are free to use.
Definitely a place to go back to!

We are so pleased we chose this hotel for our 5 night stay on Koh Rong. The beach is very private with the most beautiful white sand and clear blue water. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. The rooms are very comfortable with a lovely outdoor shower, and citronella candles are lit in the bathroom every afternoon to keep away the mosquitos. Whenever we left to visit other parts of the island we felt like we were coming home on our return. Highly recommend this resort.

The Secret Garden was everything we hoped it would be and more. The location is fantastic and the property is well maintained - we saw a few other resorts across the island and The Secret Garden was hands down the best we saw. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and we were lucky enough to have a room facing the ocean, which was well worth it.

The thing that sets this place apart though is the staff. They were all so warm and welcoming - consistently doing everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I cannot speak highly enough of every single staff member we were lucky enough to met and they all deserve a raise! I would absolutely go back and recommend this place to anyone.

Thanks for a wonder 5 night stay and looking after our group of 7 so well.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel: room on the beach (we had never had such a magnificent sea view without moving from the bed) spacious and comfortable (excellent bedding, air conditioning of course, safe, bathrobes… and so on). to a beach tote bag to carry our belongings).
Very attentive staff; in addition, all the equipment is available free of charge: deckchairs, towels but also kayaks or paddles!
Special mention for the quality of the restaurant & cocktails (with a bit of a wait, of course, but we have plenty of time on the island) for surprisingly moderate prices for a 4* hotel on an isolated dream beach (they could take advantage because the clientele is rather captive)

Until this trip, I had never heard of this magical island called Koh Rong. It's a true paradise only an hour away from the crowded city of Sihanoukville. Getting to this island is not an easy task, but the effort definitely pays off.

Once on the island, you'll realize that it isn't your usual touristy place, with limited infrastructure and less tourism compared to popular spots like Phuket or Koh Samui. After a short trip in a local taxi (don't expect the usual ones), you'll arrive at the Secret Garden. As you step into this secluded beach hotel, you'll instantly be captivated by the stunning natural beauty right before your eyes. The resort is located on a pristine stretch of beach with powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters.
You'll be warmly greeted by members of staff and offered a refreshing drink as you check into your beachfront room, which is what I would strongly recommend booking.

This "speakeasy" hotel also offers a wide array of activities to choose from, such as snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding. And let's not forget about the food – this place attracts visitors from neighbouring hotels for a reason. The cuisine is on another level, packed with mouth-watering Southeast Asian flavours. And for those seeking ultimate relaxation, the hotel features a discreet but amazing spa that offers a variety of massage treatments.

Koh Rong, and especially the Secret Garden, is the ultimate escape from the daily grind, where you can truly unwind and let the beauty of this coastal paradise sink in.

To sum up our stay: one of the best and most relaxing beach holidays ever.
Thanks, team!

We booked a bungalow with a sea view and did not regret it. It is 48 square meters and functionally furnished. The entire complex is very well maintained and, like the private beach, is cleaned several times a day. The breakfast is plentiful, as you have the option of upgrading it to include an extra (various egg dishes, soup) for free. We always had dinner here and were very happy with it. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always tries to fulfill special requests (dinner on the beach and beautiful decoration in the bungalow for the wedding anniversary). Very good WiFi connection. We felt very comfortable and would happily recommend this complex without reservation.

This resort is so deserving of its fine accolades. Having booked the wrong dates My wife and I could have been turned away but the Manager worked assiduously to find us accommodation for a night at the next door property, upgraded us for a night at the property I had booked and ensured we had a very comfortable room for the remaining 2 nights. What a brilliant effort and we were so grateful that someone cared about us after our marathon effort getting to the property from Siem Reap. The most picturesque white sandy beach with the warmest ocean water ever encountered ensured our holiday was memorable for all the right reasons. The restaurant offers a variety of western and Asian meals, reasonably priced drinks and beautiful, well appointed accommodation.
Remember to bring the insect repellent as the mosquitoes and midge flies can be voracious.

At the end of Pagoda Beach lies this gem. Really a tropical paradise.
Excellent room, outdoor shower, Happy Hour with feet in the white sand, the restaurant serves delicious meals, pool, massage but especially that incredibly white beach, which is clean and has plenty of beds and beanbags, the blue sea and the palm trees. Kayak and supps free for guests. Go!
