Stopped here for 2 nights in May 2016, Cyd and Sue, the owners, are a lovely friendly couple - treated us almost like family. It is a small quaint old building, very peaceful, and quiet with beautiful views. Food was home prepared and excellent. Stayed in the double bed suite - extremely spacious and fully equipped. Unfortunately there is no... More

We stayed at the Plough & Harrow when we attended a family wedding in Brecon. The accommodation was very comfortable and Sue looked after us with a hearty breakfast each day and Cyd's company ended our day perfectly. We would definitely recommend the Plough & Harrow to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

The Plough and Harrow Inn, Felinfach near Brecon is a privately run pub offering B&B accomodation and evening meals, located away from the main road. The hostess is very welcoming. The premise is exceptionally clean. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Dont expect fast food service as the food is all home cooked to order and of excellent quality.... More

As the upmarket Griffin was fully booked, we were advised to have a meal at the adjacent pub, The Plough and Harrow. It was their monthly pie night. A good selection of pies cooked by a local chef and excellent pastry. Friendly landlord and local clientele added to the atmosphere. A good recommendation.

We arrived a tad early for the start of a two night stay at the Plough & Harrow, but a knock on the adjacent cottage door gained us access to a very cosy, very friendly pub. Our evening meal was good and the accommodation clean, spacious but cosy and very comfortable. Breakfasts were great, with plenty of choice to suit... More

Stayed with my family to celebrate a special birthday in May. Lovely little inn just three rooms which we took over, the sitting room in the suite was very useful having a comfortable sofa and chairs plus a TV. Sue' breakfasts were tasty and generous as was the dinner we had on the first night, the Griffin, just a few... More

My friend Gilly and I spent a very comfortable week in this excellent pub, when we visited the Hay Festival. It is ideal as it is about 10 miles from Hay and so is quiet and a good place to get away from the crowds in and around Hay. Sue and Cyd are friendly and excellent hosts, everything is spotless... A lovely welcoming pub. Sue served great food and it was nice after a long day walking to be able to sit on the sofa in front of the fire with a pint. The rooms were clean, comfortable and cosy with a really comfy bed. Cyd and Sue are great hosts and will go out of their way to make... More

Set in stunning countryside this little pub is ideal for a one night stay, the rooms are clean and have character but the bathroom was small but adequate. We did not eat here in the evening but the breakfast was superb and the hard working owner very friendly. Do read your booking instructions as the book in time is between... More
