We would highly recommend this B&B. We received a very warm welcome from the owner who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Our room was clean and well equipped and we were invited to use the kitchen to make hot and cold drinks whenever we wanted. We were very pleased that we had... More

I can concur with the previous reviewers. We originally intended to stay for one night and ended up staying for 3. Peter is a brilliant host and chef. We ate there every evening out on the terrace with other guests. Breakfast was also excellent with his homemade yoghurt and bread. Highly recommended.

We were guests in May of this year and we thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay in the area....we found the room large and airy. Peter is a marvelous host-it was wonderful too to share meals with the other guests....a great way to open one's eyes to the world. We highly recommend staying whether in transit-or to explore this area... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation. Friendly welcome and staff, rooms are cleaned to a high standard, breakfast was lovely and the evening meals (optional) are exceptional. Situated on a quiet lane a few minutes walk to the village centre, and the accommodation itself is set in pretty gardens to the rear... More

We were very pleased to find The Vieille Grange whilst en route for the ferry at le havre. The strong recommendations on line brought us there and everything that had been written proved to be true.We were warmly received, shown to a comfortable, spotlessly clean room and given an excellent dinner. Peter's blanquette de veau was a really exceptional dish... More

I stayed at "La Vieille Grange" in the middle of Summer. There, at night, under the starry sky, it's so peaceful that you can even hear the silence. The house is very big and comfortable, with nice clean and sunny bedrooms. The owner, Peter, is a wonderful and creative cook, able to prepare delicious and different good meals with everyday ingredients.... More

I have stayed with Peter & Jackie (English) at The Vieille Grange B & B several times now and felt I just had to write a review. The B & B is a beautiful barn conversion set in a small village on the edge of a forest. The rooms are light, airy and spacious with those special touches like bath... More

We stayed one night at this converted barn guest house, which also has a lovely garden. It is conveniently situated a few minutes walk from the village (great restaurant!). The owners, Jackie and Peter were extremely hospitable and helpful in all respects. There was open plan accommodation downstairs where guests are invited to help themselves at any time to hot...
