We reached Krabi at night and were picked up by the hotel provided van. The room provided was decent but we changed the room next morning. It was a nice comfortable room. The staff is sweet and caring. Language is a concern but we managed. It’s a quiet and calm place with access to the beach. Very serene. 2 downsides - the distance between this resort and the city centre like Ao Nang is around 1 hour by motorbike - 51 kms. Second, they hardly have any vegetarian options. On our last night, we ordered a veg pizza and wanted to know options. They hardly had anything. So we adjusted with tomato and cheese pizza. Order was made at 8.30. But the pizza came at 8.50. The person brought the pizza to our room. We wanted to sit in the cafe and he refused and he wanted to close the cafe at 9. He said I told you that we close at 9. It’s not my fault that they took long to prepare the pizza and there was still time in 9 pm. He made us sit outside the cafe next to the pool which had less light and he closed the cafe and went. Was disappointing. Overall it’s a nice place to stay with beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful.…
I had a very good night over there into the Beachpool Villa. It was very silent and the service was perfect. Also there dinner was just nice and attentive. The beach is not perfekt for swimming because you have no shadow but i liked it. The swimming during the Monsun into the private Pool was an really exciting experience :) Just the distance to the city is not perfect but you should know it if you just look on the map before... I will come back if i'm around in this area again!
I am proud to recommend this place #PurinResortAndRestaurant the room is very nice and clean. Every room look like villa but they call superior room and have bathtub with salt spa and aroma oil also. This place is on #LongBeach #Krabi far from Krabi Airport about 20-30 Kms. this beach very quiet and peaceful it suitable for escape everything and relaxing. For the price we book with Agoda only 881฿ very cheap!! For low season.
My wife and I stayed for the new year eve 2018 in room/ villa no 3 and were mainly saddened by the owner/ host Ms Lilian. We checked in late afternoon, went in for a quick shower and realised - no hot water = neither in the shower, nor the bathtub! - Not wanting that to spoil our moods, we simply brought that to the attention of the housekeeping folks and went to the beach. The beach is the best part about this hotel - it was literally just us on the entire beach and the sea! In an hour, it started pouring, we were feeling cold (really cold) and went back to try the shower again, still no hot water! The housekeeping staff brought it to Ms Lilian's attention and god knows why, she made me feel very uncomfortable for having complained - her words were, "you can't expect hot water on a beach resort" and "try the bathtub, should I send someone to run it for you". I was left thinking I know how to fill a bathtub, why wouldnt she rather focus on helping us take a shower somewhere"? Anyway, 2-3 more hours of electricians efforts went in vain and we never got hot water/ any substitute arrangement till the next day. We were offered to shower up next day in another room that had an early check-out but we found it weird to take our clothes to another room just for a shower We shrugged this off in the spirit of the NYE spirit and went on to join the lovely barbecue by the beach party for all guests. The setup was very intimate, friendly and the barbeque/ grills were absolutely delicious. What mired the experience was again Ms Lilian's continued negative outlook towards us. It was just 10 rooms/ families and Ms Lilian spent at least 10-15 minutes chatting with each family over the next 2-3 hours - EXCEPT US - didnt even pass by our table, NEVER EVEN SMILED. I spent the NYE pre-occupied with the thought, "where did we go wrong?" We finally left next morning without a shower, didnt bother having their breakfast. Thankfully we had a lovely stay at De Malee pool villas for next 2 nights - a stark contrast with lovely staff, highly courteous and attentive service P.S. During the hot water conversation previous evening, Lilian passingly remarked "we could take our money back if we wished ..". We never asked, she never offered/ followed up!! The room - well fancy but very impractical - lot of unnecessary space that you only use to walk around, slippery cheap flooring, specially when they have a bathtub bang in the middle of the room, a very narrow garden that one wouldnt go to considering the hotel beach is just 20 steps away - overall, the quality of materials used, space planning, practicality of the room is a letdown compared to how it seems in the pictures On the positive side, her husband (forgot his name), was warm, conversant and supportive…
We had a very mixed experience here. We stayed in the room with private pool and sea view. Breathtaking view from your terrace. The room itself is very spacious but needs urgent attention and maintenance. The pool was dirty and not cleaned (leaves from days, pump was not working properly). The whole resort was unorganized and generally not clean. The restaurant is very expensive, luckily we found 2 local restaurants very close by. The whole place is lacking personality. For only the accommodation I would rate it a 2 star but because of the view and quietness I rate it a 3 star. Generally the resort didn’t meet our expectations and we left very disappointed.
