Most friendly staff so far on trip. Old property with massive old trees add to the charm. Horses, cattle, big friendly bull, buffalo , peacocks , jabarus, wallabies and native bird life everywhere. The Cheeky Bull Bar with fire pit with Happy Hour and sometimes food is a massive plus. The history of the property during WW2 is shown during... More

After a not so great first trip, we were very pleasantly surprised going back this year. We were able to get a spot under shade which made a huge difference, and the other campers were very well behaved which meant a much more peaceful and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be going back !!

A very pleasant surprise towards the end of our Top End tour was staying at the Mt Bundy Station. We stayed in the stockman's hut and enjoyed the relaxed rustic feel. The station bar was a good place to meet folks & share experiences

Thank you for a great stay. Really loved the rural serenity and simplicity. The hospitality was typically country Australia. Impressed with the commercial kitchen and loved staying in the cooks cottage. Also enjoyed the late afternoon tour and the unique bar.

If you need an easy accessible camping spot and don't have an off road car: just a few kms off Stuart highway. Some indoors options as well as powered and unpowered spots. Multiple private spots around to light a camp fire so perfect for the cooler dry months. You can pretend that you're all by yourself... Hopping wallabies and peacocks... More

Mature aged couple with 20ft van. Spacious sites, well grassed and most shaded. Terrific swimming pool and an abundance of animals and birds to entertain the young and young at heart. Communal 5 o'clock happy hour sessions for those interested and a cheap Friday night meal offered. Limited access to the river but a couple of billabongs provide an attraction.... More

Stayed for 2 nights here at cooks cottage. There is a well equipped kitchen which is v convenient when we want to cook dinner every night. The cottage is a bit dusty but we are fine with it, considering its location. Check in are fuss free and the paid breakfast is quite a wide spread. Went around the place visiting... More

Stayed on a powered site for one night - facilities were OK, maybe could have done with a few more showers. Lovely little pool, nice bar area with log seating around the fire, entertained by some live country music. Good abundance of wildlife - dogs, birds, horses, pony and lots of wallabies - children loved it. Good place to stay... More

Mt Bundy is a working cattle station. Our powered site was under a very large Bunyan tree. Amenities are basic but clean. Horses roam, Nigel the bull loves a pat. There are buffalo there. A great place to stay. The War cemetery is definitely worth a visit.

Lovely we stayed in the stock mans quarters which is actually more like a backpackers, didn't realise at the time of booking. No TV, no reception and not much to do in Adelaide river (it's a stop through town). No TV and reception was fine by me but not my partner who went a little crazy. We were lucky not... More
