We had a slightly shaky start, turning up after dark, and meeting our host who spoke limited English and clearly were not expecting a male-male couple turning up. A frantic reorganisation of rooms seemed to ensue and we found ourselves set up in a room with a double and a single bed, so all was well. We then got an incredible dinner of fresh fish and chips. The next morning we were similarly treated to a fantastic mezze breakfast, which was way beyond what we had expected. The room itself was basic but the shower was great. There was a little damp in the room but nothing major.

This fantastic family run eco hotel is a gem. The family are so friendly and can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed at the beginning of March and breakfast on the terrace was a delight, with eggs from the hens running free around the garden, freshly picked vegetables and fruit either foraged or grown by the family and homemade jams and chutneys. The lodges are scattered around the gardens and are very comfortable and the a/c is an asset. We loved watching a calf, a kid and a kitten playing together in the grounds

The room was exactly what we were wanting with all the amenities necessary and very clean. The gardens are naturally maintained which certainly gives a tranquil feeling, along with the peace and quiet of the area. The food was all locally produced and delicious. It will not be the last time we stay there as is was so delightful.
