Located just outside Dipkapaz, the Oasis lives up to its name. It is no doubt a hidden ' Jewel of Cyprus' It offers travellers excellent food and a great stepping stone into the Kapaz National Park. We stayed in the beach apartments for two nights. They were basic chalets, clean and tidy but no frills. Although there is limited accommodation... More

This is a wonderful restaurant on the northern coast of Cyprus, located at a historic place. They have excellent fish and appetizers. I had dinner there with my cousins, as the Mediterrenean sun was setting. I highly recommend it for those who go to this part of the island. The beach there is one of the best that I have... More

What a wonderful setting! We hired a car for a couple of days and happened across this lovely spot. Just a small hotel on an undeveloped beach - so, so tranquil. If you can't chillax here, looking out to sea with a small beach below, a cold beer in your hand and an ancient ruin at the entrance to the... More

Some friends recommended this place and we were over the moon that they did. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean enough. The rooms are a stone's throw away from the sea it was great to be lulled to sleep by the waves. Oasis has the most wonderful setting next to the ruins of a Greek church and near a... More

The setting of this small hotel (restaurant with rooms?) is great - on an undeveloped stretch of coastline on the northern side of the Karpaz Peninsula. The restaurant serves well-prepared uncomplicated food. The welcome and overall service are very good. Recommended.

Having reached the grand young age of 55, in all my years of living in Cyprus and holidays with family prior, I have never visited Agion Phylon. Yesterday I decided to change this fact and with friends we drove down to see this amazing 10th century church built on a 5th century basilica. The view did not dissapoint, the ruins... More

After a long day of driving (From Paphos via Mt Olympos) it was truly wonderful dropping down the hill to see the small hotel. What a location! It appears the restaurant has been received roofed and it looks great. The room was nothing to shout about but we had little expectations (although a hot shower would have been nice). The... More

First went to Ayios Philon beach in 1970. There was absolutely nothing there, so it was ideal for our young children. We cleaned out three of the rooms in the terrace to sleep in ( we were three couples) and had three good holidays there. It was idyllic and still is. The Greek-Cypriot residents in Rizokarpaso were welcoming beyond belief,... More

Stayed here in November 2015 on a trip through the Karpas Peninsula. The rooms offer A+ views on the sea, with a small but proper beach in front of the lodgings. The restaurant offers a small but good variety of Cypriot dishes, and I've read that the fish is one of the best on the peninsula (haven't checked though). The... More
