This is the perfect place to stay the night and just relax. You don't have to bring anything to the hotel as you wear your swimwear and robes to the restaurants. Leave the mobile phone in your hotel room and enjoy some proper conversations without any distractions. I highly recommend this place! Will definitely go again.

It was a girls getaway trip. We were looking for something exotic and fuzz free especially in this unprecedented time. Unlike me, my friend has never been to Japan let alone tried Japanese onsen therefore this seemed like an ideal choice. The hotel is beautifully decorated and it has all the right essence that reminded me of a typical 5 stars japanese onsen hotel. We booked a standard room with twin beds. The room did have japanese essence but too basic for what we paid for. Considered the price that we paid for the room it was quite disappointing. However we didn't want to let it dampen our mood because our hearts were set on japanese bath. When we walked into the spa, it was like a huge bath house but yet intimate. It looked as I had imagined it. The problem for me was the water temperature. Because NONE OF THE ONSENS WERE HOT! All indoor and outdoor pools were just lukewarm which meant that if one sits in it for a while one will become cold. This showed the lack of knowledge of the hotel's operator in Japanese bath house. One of the most important factor for a typical japanese bathhouse is the water temperature. The water needs to be very hot so that it melts away the tension and the ache on one's body. At times it can be difficult to get in but when one goes to a 5 stars hotel, they normally have several pools with various temperatures. But none would be lukewarm! In other words Yasuragi spa may looks great but not authentic. The experience was no different than being in a swimming pool with japanese interior. After a long day of disappointment we headed off to the bar. We were greeted by a lovely team of staff who were very accommodating. The package that we bought included 3 course meal. The food were good but it would be nice to see some Japanese dishes in the menu considering the name of the restaurant was " Tokyo restaurant"

Thank you for your extensive review. Our outdoor hot pools are 40 degrees Celsius and the indoor between 38-40. The cold pools are 12-14 degrees. We are aware that this is not as hot as in some Japanese onsen with natural hot springs heated by the volcanic activity. We do understand that if you have been to Japan you may have other expectations. Warm regards Yasuragi

If you want to discover Japanase culture, you should stay here, especially if you are interested in meditation and want to meet with yourself in silence that was an amazing trip to discover my soul in the nature... Stuff cozily welcomed us in the reception area and then they explained us what we should wear in the hotel area, which is Yakuta that looks like Kimono. For the room, it was so clean. The charming thing was Japanese sliding window panels that makes you live in traditional Japanese home. Regarding to food, we had high expectation, so it was disappointment for us except miso chocolate as a dessert the taste was so good and the other thing is, would be nice to see more Japanese decorations in the restaurant, because the restaurant itself looks like ”regular” restaurant. Check in and check out time has to be fixed, because we stayed only one day. Checked in time at 15:30 and check out time at 12:00, so in theory we have not stayed one day. This stay was my birthday gift and I really wanted to join sushi course at 14:00, but they didn’t take us because they told us that we should leave right away after check out of a hotel. I feel like there is a misunderstanding between manager and personnel, because according to offical Yasuragi instagram page shared a post says that there is an instagram contest for the best picture of Yasuragi with hastag, #longingforyasuragi and for the winner there is a surprise, so I wanted to join the contest and I was about to take a picture and then I was ”warned” by personnel that I shouldn’t use my phone to take a picture eventhough I explained the situation, but according to his attitude he did not believe me. He acted like there is no contest and the feeling was not good to be warned front of many guests and this situation ruined our day!

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the silence and tranquility and of course sorry that the food was not to your liking. Regarding the sushi school it was at 4 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays during July. So the idea was for guests to prebook the sushi school online and participate after check-in at 3.30 p.m. We are sorry if there were any misunderstandings. The Instagram competition was on, but didn´t require a picture taken at Yasuragi and definitely not in our Japanese bath as that is a place always kept free from mobiles and cameras. We are sorry that the information about this didn´t reach the our staff in the Japanese Bath. We do hope to see you back in the future. Warm regards from the team at Yasuragi.

I had booked a day package with my child and before booking had asked them if i can change the booking to an over night stay over the phone. Before changing my booking i called again, both times Yasuragi staff did not mention that apart from the price difference (which i already knew) , they would also charge another amount of around 350 kr just for booking a room. It is firstly ridiculous to charge an amount ASIDE for having a price on the calendar. Furthermore they mislead as on the website they call it an upgrade. My major dissappointment was the failure of the staff to mention this until after i requested to change my booking. When i took this up they said they cannot do anything about it. I emailed back saying i would like to refund in this case. Which they ignored and then i had to email again. I had been looking forward to spending this time with my daughter but the whole experience was such a turnoff

Spent a night in a suite and have mixed feelings. The surroundings is lovely, in Stockholm archipelago. Calm and nice. An exclusive resort, so they claim. Here are some ups and downs. + nice concept with Japanese style rooms and spa. + nice and clean spa facility + friendly staff + good food in the bar, good drinks - EXPENSIVE - the food in the restaurant was substandard. - our waiter was nothing but mediocre at best. - our suite. It had a very nice view, and the bathroom was nice, likewise the Japanese style futon beds. But the room itself was run down. It was not as near the standard I had imagined for that price. Fub facts: you don't need your own bath clothes, they supply it for you, and you get to keep it. They equipp you with a kimono, but only the most expensive suites get to keep them, everybody els kan buy them at check out. Pic 1. The entry to the facility. The parking is free and just down the hill, about 200 m. Pic 2. Our suite. The beds were perfectly made, this pic was taken the day we checked out. Pic 3. A shelf falli g apart in the room. All of the wood details in the room were discoloured and were visibly worn down. I paid 650$ for a suite for 2 persons and 1 night. I expected more since there are many other hotels and spas with way better quality in details and food. Was a nice experience but no way am I doing this again.
