There was a huge snow storm in Tahoe and there was an official warning out to not travel to the area. The woman on the phone very rudely told me that she can’t do anything about it since I booked through Booking.com. Not even a “sorry”. I contacted Booking.com to cancel but turns out that the hotel has to allow Booking.com to waive the cancellation fee. They didn’t do it, even though it was more than 48 hours in advance. Don’t run a hotel business if you can’t teach your staff how to talk to guests. Don’t charge a cancellation fee when it is literally impossible to travel to your hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room and bed were very comfortable, it was quiet and we slept well. We were in the newer section just a short walk across the street from the main building and lobby. Free wifi and parking. Great staff and free coffee and tea in the lobby. The lobby was very comfortable as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great place. The staff are very friendly and personable, the aesthetic is cool and fun, the location can't be beat, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We can't wait to come back. The only reason we didn't have a 5-star experience is because the TV didn't work and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up.

Chris started off our great stay with a very friendly welcome including a sample glass of beer offered to us by another staff member as we completed our check in. This pretty much set the stage for a wonderful 3 night stay. Were things perfect, no, but what I can say is the staff responded nicely and quickly for instance when the AC was not working. The pool and hot tub area was clean and a welcome respite from a long day of hiking. Also the area adjacent with the fire pits and where you can make your smores was just as clean and inviting as the pool area. The room was as pictured and while not hugely spacious, it was well appointed. Great shower, plenty of parking, large comfy towels, small fridge, comfortable beds, and despite the hotel being fully booked, it was quiet at night. You can walk to the Heavenly resort for the gondola ride and we walked to Harrah's Casino one night as well. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you to wonderful staff!

The floor was painted particle board, partialy covered with a frayed rug (see photo). There was no furniture in the room; not a table or a desk, not even a chair to sit in. Bed and bedding were not comportable. No sink in the bathroom. Amenities were severely lacking. On the plus side the location is good, the room was very clean, and the staff was super friendly.
