Formerly the Fantasy Inn, our new POSTMARC concept is largely inspired by the founder's love for travel and adventure in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We embraced the spa tubs and showers built for two but renovated and updated the concept and decor with a new Tahoe attitude.
Our motto is .....Escape, Experience, Explore.
Please come to escape your day to day, experience the luxurious rooms and location, and explore the nature, nightlife, and magnificent place that is Lake Tahoe. We know you will love it!
I stayed at the Postmarc during mid week and it was perfect. The rooms were clean, the pillows amazing and the jacuzzi tub was epic! The location is great too because it’s close to the casinos but not right in the mix if it all. I didn’t get to use them but, the hotel had bikes which would have been fun to take on the bike path to the heavenly village if I were staying longer! Can’t wait to come back and visit!
This hotel is amazing! Great location. The staff and service is wonderful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Our room came with a small bar area that had a small fridge and microwave to store and eat snacks or leftovers. That was a nice thing to have. I hate to waist good food. We will definitely be staying again.
When I made our 2 night reservation, the reservation I was sent said average daily rate of $161.10. When I checked in, our bill was $368.54! When I questioned it, I was told it was taxes and resort fees. Resort fees? For what? This hotel was out of the main hustle and bustle of Tahoe but not far. A couple of miles maybe. We had a bottom floor room. Good size room. We had trouble with our mini fridge but they were able to fix it. Nice bathroom and really liked the layout. Small table and chairs in the room with a kitchenette like bar as well. They did have coffee and tea out in the lobby but only in the morning between 6:30-10:30. I guess people don't drink coffee any other time. If in the area again, I don't know that I would stay here again. Didn't think it was worth the price.…
always can rely on this hotel to meet my needs during a stay. friendly and knowledgeable staff, and i can tell they care about giving a good guest experience. best location in south late in my humble opinion. the free rental bikes are a really nice luxury as well.
Amazing stay at the Postmarc! Convenient location directly across from the lake with fabulous dining options within walking distance. Many upgrades to the hotel - amazing jacuzzi tubs & comfortable beds. Super clean & tons of amenities. They have a very welcoming and helpful staff & complimentary coffee & tea in the morning. I love this place! So many other hotels in town are cutting corners lately, and Postmarc is always stepping it up. Thanks for the great stay!
Stayed 2 nights on a very busy Labor Day weekend that we booked last minute . Charged a whopping rate after taxes of $450/ night. Had a 20 pct discount from YELP which was not honored. Just a rip-off! Located across from marina and in the middle of a bustling street
I can't begin to think of anything that I just didn't like about this hotel. The room was large, to accomaodate an unnecessary spa. Everything was clean. Lots of storage, very convenient in the floor plan. In a nice location, plenty of parking..... I don't think a person could go wrong here.
What a wonderful experience! Huge spacious rooms. Big cuzi tubs! Close to eating and shopping! Free bikes for travel n cheap n fast Lyft and Ubers available. Weather was a bit windy but still sunny enough to enjoy the sunlight out doors n a fire pit at night :)
I stayed at this property mid-week and got a hot tub room for a great rate. I sense that most rooms have hot tubs. Anyway, I had a great stay. The room was perfectly clean. I prefer the ground floor with the hot tub rooms, so I don't feel like I am disturbing the people below me with the jacuzzi motor roaring. Bed was super comfortable, the jacuzzi worked great. The hotel is located pretty darn close to everything. They have a bike rental program too, which if you are into that, will get you to where you want to go quickly! I visited in summer. I'd love to stay at this place in the winter. The room is very cozy, with the hot tub, comfortable bed. It makes a great cozy room in the cold, snowy sierra winter.
The hotel is nothing special but was fine for a couple of nights stay. Its quite modern furnishing in the room but the spa tub was dated. The European style showers were different and the location wasn't too bad for a short walk to a breakfast cafe (red hut) which was good.
