Stayed in elizabeth lodge with my friends during the winter season and we had a really great experience with this lodge. The owner (matteo) was really great and helpful with us. Although the room was simple, it was very clean, the shower had good pressure and it was big. The location is very good too. I really enjoyed my stay...

Unfortunately Management is never ever there, day or night - phone # is only posted on office door. Supposedly under a new Manager now per note taped to the door. No help whatsoever - always seems to be "OUT"

It's a very simple, small, and old school hotel. It's $29 on weekdays and $39 on weekends. What do you want or expect? That's what you get. Odds are, if you're in Tahoe and you're looking for the cheapest place, you'll be happy here. Its close to everything (casinos), including Harveys, which is nicer and only a few bucks more....

This used to be a decent budget place to stay with a good location. Now it is extremely run down and not worth any price. Here is a list of the current features: * Dripping Sink * Dripping Shower that came apart and shot water every where when turned on. * Broken heater that would not stay lit. * No...

I was staying at the Elizabeth Lodge for a wedding I was DJing in mid August. When we arrived after a 9 hour drive the room was filthy! The shower leaked and there was mold in the shower. The bathroom didn't have a doorknob and my wife got stuck in there when she closed the door. We asked for a...

Visited there in 1997 when I got married, and we have always made an effort to visit south Lake Tahoe practicaly every year. Each time we always stay at Elizabeth Lodge. For someone on a budget, the rates are cheap enough. You get what you pay for!
