The park is in a great location, particularly to Emerald Bay and the many hiking/biking trails in South Lake Tahoe. Sites were nicely wooded, fairly level, but on dirt. Sites were a bit too close together (sitting at your picnic table starring down at the neighbors’ sewer hose). Appeared to have nice amenities (pool/spa, sports courts) but were all closed until Memorial Day (although the weather was mostly in the high 60s). We would stay here again, but when the amenities are open.

Beautiful woodsy campground with clean restrooms, great amenities, trails and a playground. Close to shopping and dining. Reasonable distance to Lake Tahoe water activities. Driving distance to Emerald Bay.

Overall a nice stay, it was early in spring so only about 50% open. We were next to what appeared to be a permanent resident in a dilapidated motorhome that had amassed a collection of belongings (covered with tarps); but otherwise a nice and quiet stay in a great location near the "Y"...
