My husband and I recently stayed four long nights. The original room we were assigned to was cheesy, cheap, and teeny tiny. After much complaining we were assigned a better room, comparatively speaking. The room felt like it was pieced together with old garage sale pieces, dirty carpet with fraying edges, outdated, and a rock hard bed. Between midnight and 4am, every night, we were awoken by a large bear going through their non bear proof garbage dumpster. Are the aware of the potential detriment to people, pets, and the bears?? Are they too cheap to purchase a proper receptacle?? The hotel is near, walking distance, to casinos, a small beach. The cheesy heart shaped jacuzzi tub fits two. Go knowing the risk.

This "MOTEL" IS HORRIBLE! The air conditioning doesnt work. The cable was out, they came to "FIX" I asked for a fan he went to check if they had one and never came back. When I try to call the operator I only get a busy signal. At over 300 a night this place is a complete RIP OFF! THEY OWN THE HEAVENLY HOTEL NEXT DOOR AS WELL. STEER CLEAR OF THIS RAT HOLE!

This place exceeded my expectations! Don't be fooled by the way it looks on the outside. The rooms are super nice and modern, with new tile and counters in the bathroom. The jacuzzi tub was huge & AMAZING! My boyfriend told me he was very impressed (I planned the trip for his birthday) and he absolutely loved the room. We were in an awesome location too, right across the street from Heavenly Village. We didn't need to drive anywhere— everything was walking distance. The best part was, it snowed over a foot during our 1 night stay, and before we had even gotten dressed for the morning, the staff had plowed the parking lot, shoveled out all the cars parked there, and threw sand on all the walkways. Will absolutely be staying here again!

The only things I am not happy with this place is housekeeping. They forgot to clear refrigerator from previous guest and failure to replenish coffee and clean coffee pot. The shower head poorly located. You have to go under the shower heads before you turn it on or will be shock with the cold shower. They should install a water thermostat of some sort.

Dear Marylou, thank you for taking time to post your review. Your feedback is very important. We do apologize for the housekeeping oversite regarding the refrigerator in you room. It is a rare occurrence and we have addressed the issue with our team to prevent it from happening again. Daily room cleaning is only provided upon request, as our experience is many guests prefer we not enter rooms unless directed. We will look into the water temperature issue, as well. We are pleased that you found the bed and pillows comfortable and hope that you enjoyed your time here in South Tahoe.
