Our family stayed at Americana Village while enjoying a winter vacation in the Tahoe area. We enjoyed use of items that the activity center that has to loan out: games, sleds and snow shoes. The kids love the breakfast of donuts that is available. Eggs and fruit round out the selection a bit. The location is great for walking to...

Had scheduled here through our timeshare. Received another deal elsewhere. More expensive to change air line flights than to stay an extra day. Stayed here on our last night in South Lake Tahoe. Outside is a little dated but most is South Lake Tahoe is this way. Room was a studio. Has a small kitchen. Sleeping quarters and living area...

We stayed in a studio. It was way better than a hotel room. Very nicely appointed and comfortable. The staff was very nice and the free continental breakfasts hit the spot. The outside of this building is dated but don't let it fool you- the inside of the remodeled rooms are quite nice. The resort is located very close to...

We stayed at the Americana for a family ski vacation. The rooms have been updated to mountain modern and are very attractive and convenient. The staff was amazing, and definitely the best part about our stay at Americana. Paty, Rosie and Sandra in the activity center were particularly lovely. The location could not be beat. Just minutes away from the...

I have to give a big shout out to Rosy Ramos. She worked in the kitchen and did the activities. She was so friendly, bubbly personality, and...

Enjoyed our week visit at the Americana. We were there when they had the huge snow storm . Lots of snow piled everywhere. We had several issues with our Tv and once we called down to report the issues they responded immediately. The activities staff provided great entertainment for us such as bingo, tie dye t-shirts, meet and greet, karoke,...

We stayed at the Americana Village over Martin Luther King Day. We booked the room last minute which I have to say, was a little confusing. Trip Advisor and the Hotel themselves told us that they were booked but we were able to make a reservation on Expedia. I was a little worried that the room would turn out not...
