We stayed at the campground at Camp Richardson while my mother-in-law stayed at the hotel during our visit. The positives of this resort is that it is in a beautiful woodsy setting and has a really nice sandy beach. The ice-cream parlor, coffee shop, camp store, beach. marina, and restaurant all add to the charm of this place. There are...

I am a bit surprised to read so many reviews of this place as an amazing resort. Personally I would call it a decent 3 star hotel. The rooms are small and the mountain decor verges on tacky in many places. There are very few amenities: no TV, no wifi, a coffee machine that makes awful coffee with sachets of...

Went to meet sister & brother in-law at Camp Richardson for two nights, July 14, 15, 2015. Pretty nice campground but too many people. Too noisy at night. Ice cream was great if you have the patience to wait in long line to get service at Richardson’s Ice Cream Parlor. Also, there is a lot of traffic on highway 89...

The first time we stayed here was June of 2014. Our visit was extremely pleasant and decided to return tho year. The experience was just as pleasant. Our family tent camps and the facilities are extremely clean. The campgrounds are within an easy walking distance to the ice cream parlor, general store and beach, even for a young child. Camp...

We stayed 5 nights in the Beachside Inn...conveniently located to the beach, the Beacon and our friends cabin! Surprisingly we found people were very respectful of the 10 pm-8am "quiet time" rule, especially with the Beacon right behind the Inn. Only downfall is that you have to remember to request more coffee and toilet paper when needed...it's not automatically replenished....

This is the second time that I have been to this RV park for family reunions and just hate the place. The sites are crammed together will little or no privacy. It is also very likely that you can shake your neighbors hand from RV to RV because the sites are so close to each other. The entire layout of...

We spent one night in the tent camping area in June. Everything is so dry and dusty that it all looks the same and it is very hard to pick out the individual sites. We drove around a few times before finally figuring out where our site was, even after getting good directions from the front desk. The paper we...

I worked the entire summer season at Camp Rich as security in the evenings. The management is wonderful, bending over backwards to accomodate all their guests. The variety of accomodations, cabins, hotel, rv camping, tent camping gives the guests a full range of outdoor opportunities. The Beacon restraunt and lounge provides great food served both inside and out (don't feed...

We rented a room in the Beachside Inn for 5 nights because it was close to a family reunion we were attending. The Inn is right on the water with spectacular views of the lake but it is also right behind their Beacon Bar. Both items bring people from all over the area for the nice beach and for the...

Wow!!!! We rented the Richardson House for the Holiday weekend in May from Friday to Monday. A beautiful drive up from Sacramento. It started raining on our way up so we were a little discouraged that it would take away from our trip. We were so amazed when we walked into the house!!! It was beautiful!!!! Fully stocked from top...
