We stayed in the campground not the resort hotel. We were able to have a tent and RV in the same sight. We had made reservations in advance and it worked well. The most interesting sight in the campground was a group of about 20 ladies traveling as a group some in classic tiny trailers. I heard the bathrooms needed... More

Been going to CR now for a number of years, it's a great place, especially off season! Beautiful location and the Beacon is good. Aldo, a special thanks to Charlie the manager, who saved us from missing Amtrak...GREAT guy, thanks! Dan

Very rude and strict management. We came for 2 nights with a small church group. Although we were quite and respectful the best we could be with 40 people, the camp would not let us gather at any location peacefully to do what we planned. All our plans was basic quick night gatherings, and breakfast gatherings for less than an... More

This is the second time I've take this tour. I have a house in South Lake Tahoe, and am always looking for things to do when I have visitors. This tour has been great, as it is only 1.5 hours long, serves great drinks and is a nice way to get on the lake for an affordable price. I've taken... More

We took a bike trip on the Pope Baldwin Bike Path on a Sunday afternoon and stopped at Camp Richardson to look into renting a See-Doo a few days later. The staff at the marina was very helpful and got us scheduled for that Wednesday. When we arrived for our rental the staff were very helpful; especially the guy who... More

We visited this area several times while in Tahoe. We rented bikes here and they were top notch. We enjoyed the ice cream parlor and the general store as well. Everyone that works there was very helpful.

We just came back from 3 nights at Camp Richardson. We stayed in space #71 which is towards the back of the park. We had partial hookups, electric and water only in that area of the park. Most spaces were clean and nice size. I give the reservation staff kudos because when you make reservations, they tell you upfront that... More

Recently visited Camp Richardson and was overwhelmingly disappointed with the quality of the accomadations at a price in the mid $200.00 per night - would have been better off sleeping in my car. Our room was in a shabby one story building, smoke filled, we had asked for non-smoking, no air conditioning, and very unclean. The Camp Richardson web site... More

Went there on Sunday and it was very, very crowded. Wanted to make boat reservation for the following day, but there was no parking and was advised that there most likely will be an 18' boat available. Returned on Monday about 10a.m. and had no problem with renting an 18' runabout. Was a little put off, as it appeared these... More

We rented Boat for 2 hours it was great experience, renting process took 15 mins, other than that everything was great. Boat trainer was great he told us everything in detail and emerland bay instructions was helpful. Boat was in excellent condition. Definitely recommend that. i am planning to stay at the hotel too.
