Room very tiny but relatively clean. Didn't like being charged twice when I was told it was simply a hold for incidentals. The bed was ok and sheets smelled fresh. Didn't try the pool but it seemed ok. Overall a decent stay for a night or two. Oh, don't try calling no one answers the phone.

Our room was clean. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable, not firm. I don't like firm. The room was roomy too. The refrigerator was bigger than those tiny ones. The owners were very nice too.

This hotel has an amazing location. Once you drive and park your vehicle, I don't think you will need to pull your car many times from their parking. Rooms are very comfy and clean. The flat screen tv is nice and offers loads of tv channels. Continental breakfast is decent. Owners of the hotel are very nice people and they...

There are plenty of hotels in South Lake Tahoe, and there is no reason to choose Alpine Inn for your next stay. The management is incompetent, and the rooms are dismal. First of all, the manager lost my reservation. Then, when it turned out she missed it somehow, she tried to blame it on me by lying that I made...

We stayed here because it was the best choice compared to the other budget alternatives we saw. Good location, close to lake, restaurants and shopping. Cramped and limited parking. Room had a huge jetted tub but was awkward for showering. Ok for the price range.

The location of this hotel is awesome. It's walking distance to the shops, casinos and ski lift. No one at desk for check in or check out, and no one to answer phones when calling for late check in. Our hotel room window was wide open in 30 degree weather, ceiling fan running and carpet was damp. The room was...

We stayed herewith our family of 5, 2 parents & 3 small kids. I have to say this room was the smallest we have ever stayed in. Our room was outdated and smelled weird! it was also very noisy at night :( the pool and hot-tub where out of service and covered with black tarps. Don't plan of eating the...

Great value! We booked a room in Dezember. It had a great bathtub, a big bed and just everything you need. The breakfest was ok. It is located just of the stateline, near the center of South Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very recommended if you're on a budget but still want some quality.

Spent one night. Tiny dated room in disrepair. Soft uncomfortable bed. Location to Heavenly ski resort is good but this place is the opposite of heavenly. In need of a update. Tahoe is pricy but this place is not a great value. It is also close to the lake.

It may be a nice place to stay in any other seasons, but in winter some rooms (at least the one I stayed in) are freezing due to the antique heater (no blower, just passive diffusion of the heat). When I set the thermostat to 90 The the thermostat stayed at 67F (and the room felt even colder). Had to...
