Becket Hotel allowed us to check in really early which was super awesome! Pet friendly place so our little Bella was excepted with open arms. Jeremy, at the front desk, checked us in flawlessly. Easiest check in experience I've had. Our room was simple but cute. Possibly recently upgraded. Nice shower, super comfy memory foam mattress king sized bed! Of course free wifi and good cable TV. Best part is we were one block away from the State Line Casinos. Tons of food, amenities, gambling, drinking, etc! Exactly what we were looking for in our little two day getaway..

The room is a great location. The hotel itself has a rustic cabin feel. Beds are very comfortable and the staff is great. However, this place is dated and was somewhat of a letdown. 1. The shower is absolutely awful. It’s either freezing or scalding. One millimeter of an adjustment will take you to hell or Antarctica. It takes a while to adjust. 2. Peeling paint and fixtures not fully secure made for a bad look. 3. Walls are paper thin. We could hear tv from other rooms, every footstep outside, and people talking from the street. I used points to stay here so I’m not out any cash, but I did expect more based on some of the more positive reviews.

We live in wisconsin and it is our first trip to Lake Tahoe! I was so excited but it was a long journey for us since we couldn’t get a flight into Reno. My Boyfriend and I made an adventure out of it. We finally got to the hotel around 1230-1am but when we checked in the attendant was not only rude but wanted to brush us off like we were bothering her. My boyfriend walked in from the car and his mask fell down just around his mouth and the service lady scolded him like a child. She gave us extremely bad directions to our room so we were roaming around in the middle of the night trying to find it. The room was clean and the area is nice from what I seen but first impressions are huge thing for me. If this is how all the staff acts I will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

The location for this hotel is perfect. It’s right across the street from the main strip with all the restaurants. After reading a lot of review I became nervous. (I booked the hotel and didn’t read reviews till right before the trip >.< ) There were so many bad reviews. I, however, am very pleased. It’s definitely nothing fancy (what do you expect for $60 something a night?), there were no hand towels or wash cloths - however plenty of bath towels so it was alright. Upon entry the room was freezing and it took a minute for the heater to pick up but it definitely worked well! The bed was super comfy (I’m basically the princess and the pea when it comes to beds), and the tv was great. The room was small and clean enough. I had no issues with the shower water or pressure (a strange shower head tho lol) and we didn’t hear much outside noise thankfully, only in the mornings when everyone was up and walking around did we hear much. I would definitely stay here again. The location alone was worth it and we love that they are incredibly pet friendly since we travel with our pups regularly!

We didn’t even unpack our bags, we walked into our room that we paid $340 for one night, turned around walked out and requested our money back. The room was nothing like the pictures, it was disgusting it was trashy I wouldn’t stay there on my worst day. Barf.
