Absolutely perfect Lodge! Reasonably priced, free breakfast, heated, swimming, pool, and hot tub. And once you get to Southlake Tahoe, you don’t have to drive again as you can walk everywhere from this location! We bought our E bikes and had a lovely ride no matter what direction we went.!

Words cannot describe the joy my family and I have felt staying at Stardust for the past 32 years. We raised our children going on their summer vacation at Stardust. Now I have a grandchild that calls it her Tahoe home. Kenny is truly the best person ever. NO-ONE will ever be able to take his place and that is a fact. He cares about all his guests and makes every single person feel special and important. He always greets us with a smile. The staff at Stardust are caring and kind as well. We love all the activities! We play bingo on Saturdays and there is an abundance of other activities during the week. Walking distance to the beach and two swimming pools on site and two jacuzzi's. 2 blocks from the casinos and a lot of shops across the street. We also love to go ice skating across the street during the winter months. We cooked meals in our room and barbequed while we were there. It was a fantastic birthday weekend with friends. We used the bbq grill available in the resort to have a great steak dinner. The room was super clean and cozy. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Kenny, the manager, goes out of his way to make sure every guest is pleased with their stay. I love that a continental breakfast is provided for guests. The pool and jacuzzi are a great way to unwind from a long walk. This resort is located at a perfect location. We can’t wait until we come back again. Lorena

So far this is the best place to stay, the resort manager always making sure that you are enjoying your vacation, the place is clean and all the people that work there is nice. I would highly recommend Stardust and our family has been coming here for over 20 years.

The Stardust is always a wonderful vacation. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the heated pool and the short walk to EVERYTHING. It doesn't get better than this. I am an original owner and look forward to relaxing at Lake Tahoe.

A nice place to unwind after a long winter. The sStardust is centrally located in S Lake Tahoe and has many wonderful amenities. Two pools heated to 86 degrees and 2 hot tubs heated to 104 degrees, on our weekend we were able to enjoy both. The staff was both friendly and helpful with our plans for the weekend. When calling the front office to inquire for a couple of items needed they were there at our door immediately to bring them and ask if there was anything more. I would recommend the Stardust to anyone traveling to S Lake Tahoe.

The Stardust Lodge was amazing! The rooms were stylish, organized, well maintained and clean! The kitchen amenities had everything we needed to fix our meals and drinks! The staff was very friendly and cheery! Kenny the manager was extremely friendly and made our departure heartwarming!

Spent the week for our anniversary. Unbelievable great service from the entire Stardust staff. Jessica made sure everything was perfect. They provided great recommendations for events and restaurants that made our week even better. Daily events at the activities center at affordable prices. Heated (84 degrees) pool is immaculate and clean, ping pong in pool area was great with the sunny 65 degree afternoons. Heavenly ski resort was still operating so got in a few end of season runs and enjoyed relaxing end of day BBQ with on site provided gas grills. They even provide BBQ tools. Highly recommend this family friendly resort for your next south lake Tahoe stay.

The Stardust is essentially a motel, albeit a very nice one. My family of 4, including kids ages 8 and 3, stayed for 4 nights in a deluxe one bedroom suite. It was nicely remodeled, and although compact, it was well laid out and we felt like there was enough space for everyone. As many reviews have mentioned, the location is unbeatable. The staff is quite nice and we saw them do a great job of snow removal the couple of times it snowed during out stay. And we appreciated the free saucer sled rental (Kahle Park, which is nearby, has FANTASTIC free sledding). Just a couple of minor issues: (1) The baseboard heaters in our room, #112, had a couple of panels that were falling apart and (2) The free breakfast is somewhat minimal, especially if you don't like doughnuts. Overall, we got a great rate during our stay as we stayed here midweek, and would definitely stay again for that price.…
