Perfectly located, nice looking on the outside but very, very dated inside. Furtinure in the lobby is very worn. Rooms are spacious and clean and the service was as good. However Bed and pillows were not comfortable.Breakfast was good- portions are large. Very quick walk to the beach and Heavenly Village. Sits next to casinos.

My partner and I left our one night booking before spending the night because we did not feel comfortable sleeping there after continuing to notice so much of the room not being cleaned. The floor was not vacuumed, the handles to the bathroom had not been cleaned, and every surface we wiped with the Lysol wipes we brought from home wiped away dirt including the night stands, lamps, ac unit buttons. There were handprints on the fireplace window. These are all surfaces that should be cleaned between guests. It was stupid of me to continue to wipe things down when things were so clearly dirty. I regret that we didn’t come to reception to discuss our concerns but as we only have one night in Tahoe we wanted to leave to our new hotel after we secured the booking. I took some pictures of the floor that wasn’t vacuumed, stained furniture and pillows (that could be easily removed) and the wipes that came away dirty. I regret I did not take pictures of the surfaces before I wiped everything down. we were not provided a basic level of hygiene that is essential during the times of a pandemic. I also urge you to improve your level of cleaning/disinfecting for the safety of guests. As we left quickly to go to our new hotel, we sent an email and received no response and also tried calling but no one answered.

If you are looking to stay at an upscale, convenient and clean resort, the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is for you. This is a yummy breakfast every morning, a reasonable happy hour around 5 and friendly and helpful staff to assist with questions about the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

If you want to be charged nearly $400 for a trip you can't take, go ahead and book here! We are military and are unable to travel due to the DOD Travel ban. This would have been our first vacation in over 2 years so we booked the large balcony suite and since we are not allowed to travel we had to cancel and they would not work with us in any way, other than charge us for one full night plus taxes and fees. I wish we had booked a smaller room then at least the charge would have been closer to $150. Alas, now our budget for the next trip will be reduced and this whole situation has left us bitter. We, as well as our children, were so excited for this trip but the hotel treats you as if you just canceled for no reason. Mind you we were still a week away from our check in date when we canceled.

It is March 16, 2020. We learned over the weekend that the ski resorts are all closed. We learned today that the CA governor is getting ready to mandate all restaurants, bars and wineries to close this week. In light of everything shutting down because of the Coronavirus, we were sure the hotel would have just a LITTLE BIT OF UNDERSTANDING (no - they absolutely don't). Our eldest son has Cystic Fibrosis, so we have to be especially careful to not get this virus. We need to cancel our plans, but do you think this hotel gives a crap about their customers? NOPE! SO, we called the hotel to see if we could cancel our reservation and get a refund, and the basic answer is not really. Seriously!? Since we booked thru Expedia, we would be charged one night's stay. They told us if we had booked directly with the hotel, they would have refunded us one night, then given us a voucher for the rest of the nights we would not be there. On top of this, they charge a $35 daily resort fee AND you are forced to use the valet parking at $27 a day because the nearest garage is 2 blocks away. This is how you treat your customers when we are all just trying to stay safe?
