This is a really great place with friendly management and helpful staff. It's been a labour of love for the owner who after years of backpacking himself, has put his heart and soul into the design of the rooms, pool and bar. We are a couple who have been backpacking for a couple of months staying at lots of different...

We stumbled across Mozambeat online before heading to Tofo for a 5 days as part of a longer holiday in Mozambique. It's quite a new place (2012) and it has clearly been put together and run by people who have a genuine love for travel and Mozambique. The staff at the bar were some of the nicest and most helpful...

We had an amazing time here - the setup, management and staff are all incredible. Over a week, my friend and I stayed in multiple different accommodations and were very pleased with all of them from dorms to private. There are also a ton of activities - poker night, movie night, parties at the bar. If my visa didn't run...

Raymond & Sisi run a great chilled place to stay. The food is excellent value and the Vibes are perfect whether you are in the large pool or at the bar or simply relaxing upstairs with a good book. Will definitely stay again. Many thanks to Carlos , Fernando , Sonya , Carolina, Tomas , Pedro and the whole team.

Mozambeats is by far the best bar in Tofo. Good vibes, good selection of drinks and friendly staff with an amazing pool and good menu. Definitely check this place out as is infinitely better than the bars in tofo town.

Mozambeat was awesome. The staff are super friendly, Ray and Sisi make you feel like part of the family and the whole place is beautiful. I can highly recommend the cabins near the pool with outdoor bathrooms and a hammock on the terrace - so relaxing! The best pub quiz night I've ever been to and the live band party...

Friendly staff, beautiful setting, good food, great atmosphere. There's a walk to the beach (10 to 15 mins) but that isn't a problem, if anything was nice to be away from the strip. Spacious pool area with lots of indoor and outdoor areas to chill in. Definitely recommended venue to stay in Tofo. Will be returning :)

Being a resident in Mozambican capital Maputo for two years now, Mozambeat is my favourite weekend getaway. The whole hostel just oozes a chill out vibe, and you are completely relaxed from the moment you enter. In short: - super friendly staff (going from the barmen, cooks, cleaners up to owners Ray & Sietske who will do everything to make...

I loved it here! It is a great place to stay with its beautiful design and little funky cabins that have the comfiest beds in Tofo and the best ensuite outdoor showers. All the staff are very friendly and greet you with a big smile while going out of their way to help you. The menu leaves you spoilt for...
