Well where do I begin.. This is the second year we have been to this site, it's lovely, set in beautiful countryside with just lovely surroundings. This year we noticed some of the improvements that had been made, the play barn had been extended and done up, a further patio area outside the pub and barn. All staff are friendly... More

Just got back from a weekend at the Woodhouse Farm Campsite. When we arrived there were 4 people on reception but they all appeared to be dealing with one customer so it wasn't the most welcoming arrival. The pitch was great, flat and close to the park. We were able to book next to our friends. It was raining when... More

We booked this campsite after doing a search for campsites near to Lightwater Valley, and we were not disappointed. Arrived on the Friday, absolutely poured it down, got pitched, went and had a steak( gorgeous) friendly staff, amazing food, will be back

PODTASTIC! What a lovely site this is. We had so much fun and even checked online if there were any cancellations as wanted to stay longer. We stayed in a pod and it was just so beautiful and secluded. We were lucky that everyone in the other pods (there are 8) were so lovely and considerate of others too and... More

This is a lovely site that I would definitely visit again. The lady on reception really went out of her way to accommodate our 3 families so that we could be next to each in a mixture of caravans, tents and our dogs, something that could have easily been a problem for other campsites, but she was fantastically helpful. The... More

Had a little family break in the pods. Loved this campsite and will definitely be returning. The onsite pub and restaurant was good value for money and great food it even had takeaway menu. The best bit about the pub was they catered for my gluten free child. He was very impressed. The pods are lovely in a secluded area... More

Arrived after driving up all afternoon from Devon (left a fab site that I wished we hadn't left) The staff weren't very welcoming or helpful just given a map and told roughly where to go. The pitch itself wasn't very big the tent and car just fitted on and your neighbours were very close not much space between them. The... More

This is a very well run site which we didn't get chance to explore properly in the 2 days we stayed. It is definitely more for older families - our little one is only 2 but she enjoyed it and loved watching the older kids playing on the big climbing frame in the lower paddock. Our only issue was the... More

We returned yesterday from a wonderful weekend away staying in the pods. First time visit to this site and first experience of staying in a pod. Both were excellent. They have 8 pods in a separate woodland part of the site - it is nice and quiet if not a bit shaded by the established trees. You park up and... More
