Particularly pleasing.... i had a long drive and arrived after the kitchens had closed. I didn't expect to get more than a bag of crisps.... as i checked in the Chao asked if i had eaten recently... he told me nor to worry about the kitchen being closed he would find something for me. It was more than adequate.thank you...

The Old Stone Trough is a good base on the Lancashire Yorkshire border, ideal for visiting Skipton ,BoltonAbbey, Barnoldswick and many other local attractions and beauty spots. Parking...Plentiful, with extra parking near to the lodges behind the Main building. Rooms, stayed twice, once in room 23, very nice and spacious, clean, good size bathroom, TV decent with freeview channels, Kettle with complementary drinks. The two rooms we were shown REEKED of cigarette smoke, we decided not to stay! Such a shame, have stayed numerous time over the past 10 years but never again. Do the staff not realise is actually against the law to let there customers smoke in the rooms?
