I would strongly recommend visiting the family-owned Elektra Comfort Hotel! It has all you need - an artistic mixture of modern and vintage interior, cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious cuisine at the gastronomy restaurant! Both the owners and the rest of the team go above and beyond to make you feel fully comfortable answering to every guest’s needs with their devotion, attention to details and passion for what they do! Excellent service in a quiet place to enjoy and relax!
Recently refurbished hotel with nice and clean rooms, very nice owners and stuff (Kosty and the hole crew thanks again for your support especially in the last day of our stay). The beach is just across the street, the acces to the swimming pool is closed during luch time (wich is a good thing for guests in the rooms near by), the breakfast is fine. Overall, me and a group of friends that accomodated in this hotel had a very good experience with our stay. Thanks!
Great hosts - the guys were amazing. Nice pool and friendly atmosphere. Small hotel so has an intimate feel. Really a great base for exploring Thassos. Location has pros and cons. Pros: Right where ferry drops you off, a good equidistant location for exploring the island by car. Cons: local port is nondescript. You must drive to encounter decent beaches or anything of tourist or historical interest. But that's fine, as most distances are small, and most visitors have a car.
We spend 8 nights in August, for a family holliday. I will rate the pro's and the cons without being too long Pros: - location - the beach is just across the street. Still it could be better kept and some extra sunbeds are needed, close to restaurants and shops, i would rate- 5* of of 5 - cleanliness - i cannot argue that it was clean - 5* /5 - good night sleep - we had a triple room, the double bed was confortable, but the single one not at all - so 3*/5 - view and outside area - view is nice and the outside area is very nice -5*/5 Cons: - hospitality - i had the feeling that the marketing skills of the managers are very good, but they lack experience in making people feel welcomed 2*/5 - privacy - we had one room with sea vuew and even though they had quite hours, still you can hear noise from outside and everything from the hallway, every little step. During the night the outside noise was disturbing as well, so the rooms isolation system needs to be improved - 3*/5 - room size - this is the main dissapointment - in the pictures from social media they show only the bed are, but the bathroom is so small, the room itself is very small and the refrigerator( from our room ) was so noisy - 2*/5. Also, the room needs an upgrade, the walls some repairs and a painting. We had dead moskitos on the walls - breakfast - i would say it could definitely be better, it is not difficult to have a nice and nourishing breakfast, not one bun cut in half, one side with butter and the other one with cheese ( put in the owen) - they could exploit better what Greece has to offer - 2*/5 All in all, i cannot rate this location above average because, even thouhg the guys are working hard, i think they need some extra help to make things as they would want it to be. Value for money unsatisfactory. …
It is the third year my wife and I are coming to this hotel. This year amid Covid 19 concern we observed the management and staff attention to sanitary safe practices. That was added to the already known attention to very good service from room amenities, cleanliness, food, with traditional specialties almost every evening, to tidy and clean premises. I was really pleased to observe like in the past years the calm, resolute commitment to quality displayed by the Hotel owners in their constant involvement in every aspect and activity. We have enjoyed our stay at Elektra Hotel besides all mentioned above, for the beautiful position, proximity to the beach and great value.
Great rooms, perfect sea views, top services. It is a local family hotel. They put always customers on first place and provide them best services possible. The room was big enough, very good cleaning, nice pool, tasty breakfast and amazing see views. Beach it is right on front, just for the hotel customers. If you want to fell like you are in a private, quite holiday this is the place!
This is a lovely hotel and when we stopped they made us feel very welcome. There is a nice little pool which is cared for and clean (but closes for a few hours every afternoon). Food is also delicious. The menu is small but the pizzas they make for lunch are brilliant and fresh. Their greek salad is also very good.
We were a walking party of 11 plus 2 guides who used the Elektra as a base for 6 nights. We were all highly delighted with the level of service at this friendly, family run hotel. Notably, its cleanliness, its amenities and its superb location overlooking a private beach and the sea. Already thinking about when to make a return trip.
This hotel premises applies for people who just want a pleasant and relaxing accommodation. The establishment offers a descent breakfast that you can enjoy under the arbor just about 20 metres from the seashore. Its a business which is operated by a greek family in such way you will be experiencing how is the true Greek hospitality. Rooms are clean, adequate comfortable and bright.
The hotel is clean and the owners are very nice and welcoming! It’s a good option for a relaxing trip! I’ve never felt more comfortable in a long trip They also have a nice garden with a big pool and a terrace where you can eat ! Nice place !
