Hotel full of screaming children, buffet restautant absolutely terrible due to screaming and running kids. If you want peace and relax, this is not your Hotel. The ala carte restaurant upstairs was good, nice service, good food and beatiful wiews. We will not return to this Hotel again.

Good: Lovely location in thassos Island. Very friendly personnel and discrete. Not crowded. Excellent food. Bad: No internet in some places, bad at the pool. Some items are rusty, Some sunny rooms are getting hot, they need permanent AC.

This is our second stay at Alea Hotel. Everything was perfect. Food is delicious and very good quality. The beach is great, specious and with shallow crystal clear water. The room was perfectly cleaned daily. The staff is great. Special thanks to restaurants' manager Christos and his staff, especially Zoe and Giannis. Zoe and Giannis surprised us for our last dinner at the restaurant. They booked a table with a beautiful sunset view. Marios is also so polite and always ready to help. They are so kind and did their best to make us feel very comfortable and pleasant. I miss them. I also would like to thank Antonios Falaris – Reservations manager, who did his best to find for us a free room although the hotel was fully booked. All staff is really kind and professional. The only thing than needs attention from the hotel’s manager and I would advise is to separate at least the beach in two parts – for couples and for families with kids. The beach is a bit noisy from crying and screaming kids all day long. Also, the kids' animation is in front of the restaurant stairs and they run, scream and it feel like you are in kindergarten. The beach and the hotel area is specious enough to be separated between people who are there for vacation and relax and for those who bring their noisy kids to run, scream and cry.

This hotel has everything, truly pleased in every aspect of my stay. I definitely recommend it . The service was excellent. Definitely a 10/10. I would also like to give a special mention to the two twin girls who were quite distinguished from the other staff as they were extra polite and really outshined everyone else on the service department.

This is not a 4 star hotel. The cleaning service makes noise all day until 4 pm. The insect net was broken and I notified the staff but they were not interested and they did not fix the problem. The cleaning in the rooms is superficial. The food is of poor quality and the same every day. Soft drinks and beer are terrible from the CO2 dispenser. I will not return to this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone. Very expensive for what this hotel offers!

Very nice, zen and charming hotel. The Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is delicious. The beach is sand soft and very near and water is crystal clear. There are also sights of green mountains around the hotel and beach, which you can enjoy while swimming. Hotel has a special vibe like you are a part of a big family. All sort of guests but mainly families with kids. Staff is very polite and proffessional. A very good choice for a relaxing and healthy vacation. Fully recommended.

We spent 8 nights in July, 2021 in Alea Hotel. Perfect room, food and beach, all you need for wonderful summer vacation. Very good restaurants' manager and reception manager. They do everything for their guests to feel good. However, we had very bad experience with Romanian crowds with noisy and non stop screaming kids. Spoiled and screaming 24/7 everywhere, in the restaurants/bars, on the beach and around the rooms. My suggestion to the hotel management is to separate areas in the restaurants/bars, especially on the beach for families with kids and ones without kids who are there for relaxation. We were looking for hotel for relaxation and vacation and did not expect to meet there Romanians with at least two kids per family. There were hundreds of screaming kids. Next time if we decide to stay at Alea Hotel, we will phone the reception to ask if there will be so many kids. In my opinion the hotel is not kids friendly that's why we picked it up, unfortunately, too many kids like you are in kindergarten.

Since we arrived we have been impressed by the cleanliness and amiability of the employees. Due to the construction on a large area and due to the 3 swimming pools no congestion is created. The rooms are spacious. It has a private beach, without stones, with smooth entrance into the sea, perfect for kids. I booked all inclusive, the food was tasty, mostly international dishes (you will certainly not starve), but you can choose to dine to the a la carte restaurant which has a beautiful view. I had a relaxing vacation, I will definitely return.

We spent 8 nights, all inclusive. The food was excellent (congratulations to the Chef... he is responsible for me getting back and not fitting my clothes anymore :) ). The staff is very friendly, always with a smile on the face. The rooms are clean and spacious, each with a small terrace or balcony. The beach is near by and it has nice sand and the most amazing sunsets. Everybody seems to complain about the wi-fi, but, if you stay like me in room 165 you will have perfect connection. I was able to solve my work issues on mail and even watch movies on Netflix. Even with the covid situation we felt safe and we were able to get in the vacation mood very quick. The floors were marked for social distancing and people were respecting it, the staff was wearing masks and gloves, there was disinfecting solutions everywhere. Even if it was a buffet, the food was served by them, so I was not worried that somebody-else touched it. For sure we will return there!
