Arrived at hotel after a lovely day at Great Dixter. Welcomed by receptionist and booked in without any hassle. Didn’t get too much info other than where the room was and when breakfast was served, offered papers and wake up call. Room was of a good size and clean. Lovely fluffy

Stayed for 1 night mainly to use the spa. Hotel is very dated and we found the bed a bit like sleeping on a water bed, very soft. The spa treatments were lovely and relaxing, enjoyed them alot also the spa itself is nice with a lovely pool. We didn't eat in the restaurant
