Wonderful B&B, fulfilled all our expectations, Marion and Peter could not have been more helpful, Marion’s advice was invaluable. We felt fully recharged after our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the accommodation was superb, Beautiful garden and views and some fabulous sunsets. Able to do washing, lovely restaurants a short drive away and some lovely walks nearby.

We enjoyed the self-catering cottage in the hills above Mapua on our last visit to NZ three years ago, and were very pleased to return for three nights this January. The hosts, Marion and Peter, remembered us and again made us very welcome, even loaning us golf clubs to play up the coast, and providing us with a delightful breakfast one morning. We honestly think the cottage is as well fitted out as any self-catering unit we have ever stayed at, with everything you could possibly need, even including a washing machine which was very useful after three weeks travelling. Strongly recommended to those visiting Abel Tasman.

Marion and Pete took our family in when we had to evacuate our home during the Pigeon Valley wildfire. Their generosity and kindness made a huge difference to us at a very stressful time. The cottage we stayed in was beautiful and had everything we needed when we were unable to be in our home. We loved the super comfortable beds, beautiful linen and gorgeous views. Thank you Marion and Pete, we are so grateful that you made a difficult time for our family easier.

We stayed in 9 different B&B's on our trip of Australia and New Zealand and this was one of the best. It is off the beaten path but Peter and Marion are the friendliest hosts you could find. They made us very welcome and the room was very spacious with a separate sitting room which made it nice to have another place to relax besides the bed. We spent three nights and the breakfast each morning was delicious with various hot items available. Gave a good local knowledge for places to eat. Really enjoyed this stay. Also came with the use of laundry services.
