It was a wonderful experience. The beach, the waves, the private feel. Everything was amazing. But wait....what made this spectacular...was the staff! Our family would go back there even if it was just surrounded by buildings because of the staff. They made us feel so welcome and took special care with specific likes and dislikes that we cant wait to get back there.

Thanks everyone making this our best trip ever. Fantastic staff, great food and lots of things to do. Our two boys, 10 and 12 spent half time swimming and half time at the table tennis. Jumping from platform, fishing and just relaxing without wifi was really the best family therapy ever. Warmly recommended. Kind rgds from family Ericsson, Sweden.

We are a family of 4 (two young kids: 5 and 4 yrs) and stayed at Telunas Beach Resort with friends in February and had a wonderful time! -Transportation to and from the resort was a smooth process, including the boat ride to/from the island - just fine with kids, although they were entertained with iPads. -Our villa was awesome - great space for our family and clean. (Plus, you're in an overwater bungalow!) *On that note, I felt that everything was very safe, with railings on the walkways. There is an area at the front of the resort where the deck is open, so if you have tiny kids you need to keep a close eye on them. -Food was really very good and the chef made delicious veg plates for the herbivores in our group. *They have a kids menu. -Activities are plentiful; some free and some with a small fee. We didn't have a chance to do any of the tours but our kids loved the small hike and ropes course. They also loved the nightly bonfire with marshmallows. ;) We stayed very busy chasing crabs, looking for shells, swimming, jumping off the pier, etc. -The BEST part about Telunas Beach Resort? The staff. Without a doubt, they are the reason this resort stands apart from others like it. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and genuine. I really haven't experienced service like this in years, if ever. I won't continue to gush, but just know that if you stay here you'll be treated so very nicely.

An amazing beach resort nearby Singapore to relax and recharge. Two ferries away from SG and you reach a slice of calm, serene, island paradise. The team at Telunas welcomes you at the pier and everything in the world seems right and light again. Clean, simple and comfortable accommodation - over the water cabins with lovely balconies that you can lounge around in hammocks greet you. Eco-friendly set up with fans to keep you cool and mosquito nets on request though we didn’t need it at all. Food on board was lovely - we were vegetarians and we felt very well pampered with a good variety of western and local Indonesian style options changing daily. Kids were offered kids meal - vegetarian options available too. As they focus on providing local produce and supporting local community, variety isn’t a big focus but they shined through quality. There are so many nature-based activities - mostly FOC or for a very small price. Our kids enjoyed (4-7) every moment. The beach is one of the best, shallow and long sandbank with the softest powdery white sand. They build like mud or cement rather than sand - making castle building so much more fun. We spotted baby squid/cuttle fish in the water and of course millions of mud crabs, hermit crabs and little fish. So much fun for kids and adults that enjoy wildlife. What really impressed us after everything was the staff, we had to cut our trip short due to COVID19 outbreak, Nathan the manager informed us at dinner of the news and the team helped us make all arrangements to return home - early and safe. Special call out to Anun, Sophie, Yoga, Uhud and Bima, who greeted and helped us always with a big smile but also knowledge and experience in making international guests feel comfortable, welcomed and at home. Once we are able to holiday, we will be on the first ferry out to Telunas. In the meantime, stay safe and well. Kindest regards to team Telunas and thank you for an amazing memory.

We had the most amazing time during our stay in Telunas!Staff are genuinely happy and assisted us in everything that we need with wide smiles in their faces. The food is delicious,I like that it is already included in the package so I was to try their indonesian twist in every meal. Had a great time in their floating spa too while i got my treatment. Everyone was polite and I like that they try to make conversation with their guests.Like that one staff serenades the guests during the last day of stay before the boat pick us up back to Batam. Everyone was so polite, they made feel so much like home!Beautiful place indeed, lovely staff! This is highly recommended!
