We spent 6 nights at the Platatan komodo island ( Labuan bajo ) and its way by far the best ever stay we’ve experienced . We as a family enjoy traveling and make it a point to travel at least twice a year and I must say plataran somehow stole the show . The resort itself was a wow with its amazing privacy on their tranquil beachfront but the highlight of our stay were their so very passionate staff who made us feel like royalty with their exceptional service Plataran to us was a home away from home and I would highly recommend this wonderful resort to those wanting the most out of their vacation. We have 3 little kids aged 5 up to 7 and they were spoilt with such kindness and pampering by the amazing team. After this trip we decided our first choice of stay will always be in a plataran chain where there is an option My big thank you to the GM at Plataran Mr Igor for adding his personal touch and making this vacation picture perfect. The memories Of this resort will stay in our hearts Forever

We expend a week on this amazing location in Labuan Bajo, after some days diving on the park. it was the perfect wayt o relax. the sea is feet away from your room, with amazing sunsets. Also we could schedule some activities around the island, like visits to Rangko Cave and Cunka wulang waterfal that were great. Also we could book a visit to Manggarai Village, and we could witness their way of living and also saw some traditional dancing which was a unforgettable experience. The hotel personnel always took care that we got everything we migth need. they were so warm and gentle that we fell in love with this place, and we want to come back as soon as possible. I definetily recommend it 100%

My wife and I are expats that live in Jakarta. We needed a break from Jakarta after having been quarantined since February. We chose Labuan Bajo for our 10-day escape and Plataran Komodo as our place to stay. WHAT A GREAT CHOICE!!!!! The hotel rooms are wonderfully appointed, were sanitized, and the beach is right in front of the rooms which enhanced our relaxation. The location of the hotel is amazing. After 10 days of relaxation, we left Plataran Komodo feeling like family. We can't wait to go back and see our family again. So why was it so good? To start we were picked up by the GM Igor at the airport and taken by boat to the hotel. He was so knowledgable about the area, the history, and so kind. Now, the best part of our stay was all of the amazing staff. Fati in reservations, from before we arrived helped with all of our reservation needs. When we had to come out a day earlier then we anticipated she quickly changed our reservation. When we wanted to stay an extra 3 days, again, she quickly changed our reservation. She was amazing. Julius, was amazing. When we wanted to do a trip to some of the islands, he quickly made arrangements with a tour company to help us see more Komodo dragons and do some more swimming. When I realized that the tour company that he had booked didn't accept credit card, he quickly made arrangements with another amazing tour company for us. Rasdi, the executive chef. HIS FOOD IS AMAZING!!! We had 3 on the beach dinners, the Seafood BBQ, and Bonfire Dinner, and then a special birthday dinner for my wife. They were all amazing, Chef Rasdi knows how to cook, has the greatest laugh, and always made sure that we had way too much food. We could hardly walk after he cooked for us. Eggi, Yohan, Filda, Maxi, the staff at the restaurants that saw us every day were amazing. Every morning Yohan, quickly made our coffee. One morning when we needed a lunch box for a day trip, I just asked, and he said it would all be taken care of...and it was. Eggi and Maxi that we saw every night are such a great team. They always wanted to talk to us, always made sure we had exactly what we needed, and are just the kindest people. Filda, who works at Atlantis is just amazing. I watched her easily work many tables at the same time and still deliver fantastic service. She is just the nicest. There are so many other people to mention. Everyone in the front office, housekeeping that kept our room clean and sanitized, everyone at Padma Spa, the gardening staff. Whenever we saw anyone, they always stopped what they were doing to say hi, ask us how we were doing, how we were enjoying our stay, and if there was anything they could do for us. Igor, congratulations, you have an amazing staff and should be proud. Now that we are back in Jakarta we are sad. We miss our family, and can't wait to see them all again. Thank you for delivering a piece of heaven to my wife and me.

The villa is in front of the beach, so near you can see the beach from your window. The employee is friendly, warmth, and kind. They made a breakfast on the hills with an amazing view of komodo. And they also set a fun trip to the goa rangko. Love everything about plataran komodo. Gonna be back for sure!

If your looking for a one of a lifetime experience, you will definately not regret to stay at Plataran Komodo. This is a resort where you expect to provide ultimate service, with friendly staff and great food. You are picked up at the airport with a van and thinking that they will drop you off at the resort but NO, they actually take you to the harbour and a speed boat is ready for you to take you to the resort! How fantastic is that!!! Once you arrived at the jetty, you are greeted by a warm staff who was dressed in the native custom, we were serve a local refreshing drinks! From the jetty, you can already imagine of the resort feel as it blends with the natural surrounding and as far as you can see it's crystal blue water with white sandy beach! The villa is really spacious and all the amenities and perks you can imagine during this covid times are presented so you are guarantee to have a good level of safety protocols. As the resorts blends with the nature you really can feel the warmth, peacefulness and calmness of the resorts even at that time the resorts are running full you can go to one corner and feels the resorts belong to you alone. I had stumble across a few outside guests who was staying at the nearby resort and they told me that this is a better resort comparing to the price they had to pay by getting a regular room verses staying at Plataran Komodo you get your own spacious villa! They commented about the food here was even better! One of the guests even actually cut short staying and moved to Plataran saying that the it's a better value with a better beach and magnificent sunset which the other resorts didn't have. The next morning, I tried a few activties and one of it was snorkling and had a great experienced. I even had a chance to see a baby manta ray! If you come to a place like Labuan Bajo, this is definitely the place to stay with spacious villa and all around nature! Oh don't worry about the noice from the construction site as I was told that it will be completed by November 2020 so now you get an option to book a newer villa!
