If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Bali or the city. This is place to go. We stayed for 3 nights in The Seraya Resort and it was perfect. Greeted at the airport with a friendly greeting and warm smile,we were driven to the pier and taken to the resort via speed boat for about 20 minutes. My best friend and I arrived in the evening and the check in process was smooth. We met Mas Fidel and Pak Edy who was warm and friendly, welcoming us in this beautiful resort. We decided to take the full day tour and this is something that you have to do. An experience money cant buy. The resort will prepare various lunch and refreshments for you, they also provide snorkeling equipment. Mas Alex who was an excellent guide together with Pak Captain and Mas Lias who gave amazing hospitality the entire day. Trekking up to Padar, Snorkeling in Long Beach, spotting Komodo Dragons, swimming with Manta Rays and Turtles. Do note that the resort has no wifi and sometimes limited source of signal. I brought a pocket wifi with and it only works when there is a signal. The universe was telling me that I need a digital detox. It is refreshing to be in touch with nature, the sound of the waves and crickets was a luxury to me. In this modern world, to have quiet time and be away from technology is a luxury itself. We booked the beach front bungalows, the beach was clean with white sand and crystal clear waters. Kayak around the island and you can see the beautiful corals. It is a must to snorkel! I like to give my utmost thanks to Pak Edy, Mas Fidel, Pak Captain, Mas Alex and Mas Lias for being such a sport with so much life and energy. Of course a big thank you to entire team in The Seraya for the amazing hospitality. I will definitely be back again See you guys soon! Aniss & Yaz ❤️

The Seraya Resort was recommended to us by our Australian friends as one of their favourite places they had been. We took their advice and were not disappointed. We had a truly memorable holiday. We were welcomed on the pier by all the friendly staff on arrival and waved goodbye when we left one week later. We stayed in a beach bungalow that was built in a traditional bamboo design with an outdoor bathroom. It was clean, comfy, air conditioned and directly overlooked the beach. We loved the direct access to the shady lounges both on our balcony and on the beach. One of the many highlights was being able to swim out from the beach and go snorkelling amongst the hundreds of tropical fish and coal. The pier was a hub of activity with boats coming and going but also provided shady areas to sit and relax above the water. There were two little islands about a 10 minute boat ride away. Both great for snorkelling. One of the islands was home to regenerating colourful coral, the other, once again, was home to an array of tropical fish and coral. We were the only ones on the island and enjoyed the clear blue water and white sand to ourselves. One of the highlights was swimming with close to 20 Manta Rays, snorkelling at Pink Beach and searching out sea turtles at Turtle Point on our day trip to Komodo Island to see the dragons, for which we saw two. Just around the corner from the resort was a little fishing village where we met the locals and spent some time visiting the school children. Did I mention the food? The food was amazing. Always fresh and served with a smile. The menu was extensive enough to have variety over the week and the view from the restaurant was spectacular. Did I mention my birthday? We came back to our room on my birthday to find the chef, Augus, had baked a cake and the staff sang happy birthday. Our room was decorated with balloons - they made the day very special. Add to that a romantic sunset dinner on the pier and a moonlight dinner on the beach, it just doesn’t get any better. Our thanks to Eddy, Joy and their dedicated team who cared for us like royalty during our stay. Terima kasih

Our holiday at the Seraya was surely our best vacation so far knowing that we do use to travel a lot. It’s not only about such an amazing place, but also in regard to the great support Seraya Team gave us in every single moment. All smiles and good vibes we got as well as the unforgettable trip to Komodo, arranged and coordinated by Alex, a very professional, proactive, supportive and very kind guy. At the restaurant we were embraced by the kindness of Atati, who very carefully and professionally takes care of every single guest. Last but not least we do need to mention Eddy, the new manager who will surely take the Seraya to the next level in the upcoming months. We thank you in the hope to see you soon again. We are definitely going to recommend The Seraya to all our friends and not only. You made our holiday!

I loved everything. The place is a paradise. The bedrooms are beautiful. The restaurant is great. The staff is amazing, all of them, top. They borrow you water activities material like snorkel, paddle surf, kayak and the hotel is sorrounded by beautiful coral so you can spend your day doing cool activities. You can cross with kayak to another Island full of baby sharks. They pick you up by car and boat. They also offer paid activities like visiting other islands, caves etc. Last day we saw a whale while having breakfast!

The resort publicize among the services a scuba diving centre. I organized all my trip to Indonesia in order to have my 6 dive from the hotel. When I arrived there was no scuba diving and the manager promised to find alternative solution (without moving from the structure that is isolated from the land). No solution was found at the end of the trip, and the manager kept me on hold, so j didn’t organize or search anything by myself either. I was furious the day before leaving because a part of my trip was ruined, asked for a partial refund, the manager said he addressed the issue to the property. As of today no answer.

There are probably not many hotels line this. It is not a very cheap place but a magic one. Everybody there was friendly and patient and tries to make the guests as happy as possible. The real asset is the nature (and the long jetty with its hammocks and stairs into the water.) What can be still be improved The selection of dishes for dinner is limited and only twice an excellent ‘catch of the day’ was offered (Food is good and very reasonably priced the restaurant area is awesome). But Indonesia and all the hotels have reopened very recently and also because of this some things are not very organized. Only a few staff members speak good English. So do not expect Maldivian high-end perfection. But who comes here for that ? If you need to be online sometimes, get an indonesian SIM card (or flexiroam, etc.) before arriving. If your phone switches from 4G to EDGE due to the weak signal, turn flight mode on for a few seconds and the off. Then 4G should be active at least for a few minutes again.

Room- excellent and clean, no complaints. Mosquito net and turn down service provided. Open air bathroom with incense lit by housekeeping staff to help keep the mosquitoes at bay. The property-beautiful. It's on an island that you have to take a boat from Labuan Bajo to get to. There is no Wifi and that's okay if you're fine with completely going off the grid, but don't expect to get cell service either. If you book a beachfront bungalow, you will indeed wake up to a beautiful sunrise on the beach. The staff- We got to meet the new manager Eddy (sp?). He was a pleasure to speak with and was definitely trying to elevate our experience. Unfortunately, there was miscommunication about our departure time despite multiple conversations in person with our guest relations person. There was no bad outcome, but if we had a flight we had to make, I would have had a lot of anxiety. Again, I do feel that Eddy is there to make this place exceptional and this is not a reflection on him since he just started. The food- not a lot of vegetarian options. Everything (including foods you expect to be savory) was slightly sweet. My pancakes were under-cooked and I literally had batter oozing out of the middle. I usually don't harp on food at hotels or resorts but considering you are on an island with no other restaurants or stores to get food from, this is concerning. The waiters were so nice though! Overall, this place has so much potential to be a purely blissful 5 star paradise, but it's not quite there yet. For how much we paid, we expected a bit more.

We have spent 1 night and two days on that wonderful place. The only inconvenient was the staff, they don’t speak English, and when they understand, they’re too lazy to do what we were asking. Very bad team. Very bad that I won’t recommend this place only for that.
