Camped here for one night. It was easy enough to find as Redcross is sign posted everywhere. The site is large with lots of different activities and different camping areas. There is a lot of things for children to do, tennis court, golf, train rides, small animal pond and a large building with pool tables if the weather is bad.... More

good points, staff friendly, large pitches, but thats where it ends, shouting and screaming after midnight every night even though it says no noise after 10.30, toilet roll all over the toilet floors, very old buildings, pool and table tennis doesn't open till 6pm and the pub doesn't serve any vegetarian meals :-( very disappointing although Ireland was gorgeous....

We arrived at this campsite 12.45 on a Saturday. Lucky to get a pitch with electricity. Booking ahead advisable. Shower tokens €1 for 6mins of lukewarm water. While hand basin water temperature was SCALDING. Facilities cleanliness was average. Security was unable to control 20/25 children from shouting & creating a racquet around toilet area at 11.30pm till 2am. The electricity... More

Stayed 3 nights, loads of activities onsite for the kids and next to the site is a pub, shop and coffee shop. Toilet block in the family campsite are old and not as clean as other sites. The toilets in the couples site looked to be brand new. Great place for family's to stay all the same.

Not easy to find Irish holiday parks online from UK search but found this wee beauty. It caters for both caravanners & campers but also provides mobile homes and cabins for holiday rental. There's a noise curfew which is great and security walk the grounds keeping an eye out. The incoming traffic stops at 11pm by barrier but can park... More

We got a spot in the family area which requests you stay quiet after 10 which was perfect except that the family in the caravan next door had a new baby who cried solidly for 2 hours from 11-1!!! We were in a tent so couldn't sleep with the noise (we'll bring ear plugs the next time), we moved to... More

A lovely place. Hidden gem. Next to the camp site there is a craft brewery and the beers 🍻 are good. Down the street there is a coffee 🍵 and cake shop but the owner is all so a beekeeper and the honey is super in the village of Redcross. The people are so friendly

River Valley is a well-equipped, peaceful site. There's plenty of things to discover nearby. I'd recommend staying in the secret garden if you're travelling without kids. The pub/restaurant Mickey Finns is definitely worth a visit or two!!!

Have many fond memories of River Valley as a child. Now I've grown up a bit, was looking for something different from a holiday and found the "Secret Garden" adults only section quite appealing. Truthfully it was the reason we chose this site. Afterall, camping is great for kids and they have the run of the rest of the site... More

We recently stayed here in the no electricity section for 2 nights. We were lucky with the weather & the two days were hot but that meant leaving the park both days so that we had something to do. Brittas bay close by and clogga strand a bit further. The playground on site is very small & the other activities... More
