We (2 Adults, 14, 11 & 8 yr old) stayed in one of two treehouses in the off season. This would be a good place to stay if you didn't want to have lots of neighbours. Although it was cold, they are well-insulated, so two small fan heaters on low were plenty. One side had a double bed in the...

We were travelling from Canada... And I found this place on a website listed "glamping" - I made a huge mistake by not reading the fine print... More for families - Camping, that bring their own bedding and cuttlery. The staff were nice and accommodated us amongst this huge mistake of mine. There was a very nice bar - Mickey...

We have visited this campsite twice June and August and the kids just loved it. We now have upgraded from a tent to a caravan and we will be back. Although it's one of the dearer campsites it's worth it as there is plenty for the kids to do once you purchase the tokens to do so €1 each but...

If your into camping and want to let the children have a ball? You both will enjoy it here. Been here a few times now and always regret having to leave. Excellent pitching bays with electric hook up and ample space with privacy. Children love it here as it is affordable as long as you stick to a system that...

I spent a very pleasant night here this summer. The facilities were quite good. I appreciated the plentiful supply of hot water. The kitchen area was clean and had washing up liquid which was a bonus. It could do with having a coffee place in the am rather than having to go outside. The refuse etc was bagged and fairly...

This is a really good site as far as tent pitches go. They are a good size with plenty of room for our large 8 man tent. The pitches are well maintained with a small hedge separating each pitch making it feel liked a tent and caravan town. The toilet and shower blocks are very run down and in desperate...

River Valley Holiday park is approached by a reasonably narrow country road, but manageable even if met by a large vehicle coming from the opposite direction (on most stretches). We stayed in the Secret Garden part of the complex where children are not allowed so peace and quiet are the order of the day! There are more than enough pitches...

Lovely place staff were very friendly lots for the kids to do theres a chipper and a restaurant on the main street and a supermarket across the road. It has a playground, archery, airsoft firing range, football golf and much more. There are pitches for tents, campers and caravans and they also have glamping facilities too.
