A lovely place. Hidden gem. Next to the camp site there is a craft brewery and the beers 🍻 are good. Down the street there is a coffee 🍵 and cake shop but the owner is all so a beekeeper and the honey is super in the village of Redcross. The people are so friendly

River Valley is a well-equipped, peaceful site. There's plenty of things to discover nearby. I'd recommend staying in the secret garden if you're travelling without kids. The pub/restaurant Mickey Finns is definitely worth a visit or two!!!

Have many fond memories of River Valley as a child. Now I've grown up a bit, was looking for something different from a holiday and found the "Secret Garden" adults only section quite appealing. Truthfully it was the reason we chose this site. Afterall, camping is great for kids and they have the run of the rest of the site... More

We recently stayed here in the no electricity section for 2 nights. We were lucky with the weather & the two days were hot but that meant leaving the park both days so that we had something to do. Brittas bay close by and clogga strand a bit further. The playground on site is very small & the other activities... More

We have spent the last couple of weekends camping and glamping in River Valley. It is well equipped with activities for the kids. The pitch sizes are decent. The toilet block/showers are old and rough around the edges but they are kept clean. There is security at night but I think they are selective with who they tell to keep... More

This is our first season caravaning, as you can see from my reviews, we normally stick to the hotels, but trust me, the caravan is the new hotel. We let the North of Ireland to be met by rain, rain and more heavy, but this was soon to clear, with fantastic clear blue skies over River Valley. Check in was... More

This is a very high standard site, the amenities are spotless and it’s great to have a chippy, Pub and restaurant on site. Lots to do for kids, but we loved the fact there was a segregated area for adults only, which was very peaceful. My only gripe with this site is that there was no internet connection for the... This is a huge and well maintained camping / holiday park. We loved the space even when the site seemed to be fully booked. There were loads of kids and activities for them. I also loved the way that there are sections of the camp where kids are not allowed. There are also dogs everywhere and you'll hardly see any... More

Totally loved this wee spot. Four friends took off on a weekend of camping and it excellent from start to finish. Very reasonable rates and super facilities. Very impressed with the washing facilities, showering for €1. Facilities were immaculately clean and the people really friendly. The bar Mickey Finn's is a must. We also met another group of people staying... More
