Stayed for just under 4 weeks and had a very relaxing time. The hotel is doing a fantastic job in these very challenging times. Gym - had to be booked and only 2 persons allowed. New equipment and is the best gym I have used in any hotel I have visited. Restaurants - the Asian, steak house and the Italian (open only at weekends) is definitely worth a visit. Breakfast is very good with lots of choice. Staff in the Red Level area are friendly and helpful, but were stretched at times and needed help. They are doing a great job. No management around to help/assist! Room - 4068 has frontal sea views with hot bath on the terrace. The maids were very thorough when they cleaned. Happy Hour - 5-6 daily. A nice touch by the hotel where they offer complimentary drinks and tapas. Unfortunately, there are some guests that make it a cat fight and are very greedy. Expect to queue to get a drink! The evening entertainment in the square is very good and the show they put on a Saturday night is in the Las Vegas class; don’t miss...Alejandro who works the bar is excellent. Tip for the management: advertise the shows better. Missed the first Saturday as unaware the show was on! In summary the hotel is excellent and would recommend. However, remember there is very little to do, or visit outside of the hotel unless you get a taxi, or hire a car. Finally, I would like to say a massive thanks to 2 JEWELS IN THE CROWN Vero and Gala and of course all their team. The Meliá group should be very proud of you all. Well done 👏👏 The GM Saad Azzam (who I didn’t see in nearly 4 weeks!) has an all round fantastic team. Once again, we’ll done Meliá and thank you.

Hotel's Favorite
We’ve just this second for back from our stay at the Melia in Tenerife. I’ve always been a little dubious about Tenerife as thought it might be a little Brit chavy! Due to Covid this seemed to be our only option and I’m so glad we did. This hotel is right up there with some of the best I’ve stayed in. From service, food , drink, pools, cleanliness, entertainment it really ticked all the boxes for me and I’m a bit of a hotel snob. Because of covid not all the restaurants were open and that’s to be expected but the ones that were you really can fault. Cocktails & premium drinks on the AI menu. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and I really mean that, we met some lovely people including Alexander from the bar in the evening. Daniel on reception and Marta the excursion lady. Obviously mid covid and the everything has been thought of. We felt very reassured and safe. The beach isn’t up to much but then again what beaches are in Tenerife. Thanks Melia , see you again soon.

Hotel was great and the staff amazing. Everyone was nice and helpful and very tailored their way to us. Only fault in our stay was the overall food experience (excluding the breakfast), but just because of restriction on the all inclusive package we purchased. We’d go back to Meliá but without the all inclusive part

I have been in this magnificent hotel before with family and friends , usually in summer and we always enjoyed it. But this time, with Covid, with less guests, our experience was even better, surprisingly. The service was kind and helpful all the time. Alejandro, the quality manager welcomed is warmly and took care of us during all the stay. They gave us a beautiful comfortable room, with beautiful bathroom, Clarins amenities. And so overwhelming sea views!!! Meals were fabulous in the restaurants and breakfast was very assorted and tasty. There are several swimming pools, one for children with water slides and a pirate boat, another huge one, the familiar and the infinite pool (the largest in a hotel in Europe) and others, plus the spa. There is also kids club and different activities for children, also in the pools. Then also life entertainment some evenings, music and life shows to have a drink outside and enjoy the fantastic weather in the evenings too. Just walking around and enjoying the indoors and outdoors decoration, the sea views to la Gomera Island and the unique infinite pool makes you wish not to step out of the hotel for days. And the smell... If you try this hotel, you will go again!
