Top class hotel superb customer service by all staff at Red Level who go above and beyond expectation to insure your stay is outstanding. Many thanks in particular to Red Level poolside staff Jose Angel , Alezandro, Gustavo, and Eva who went out of their way to make our holiday experience wonderful by reserving poolside beds more accessible for my wheelchair and adapting lunch menus to suit my daughter’s allergies and my dietary restrictions. Thanks also to Red Level reception staff and maintenance for fixing my wheelchair that was damaged during the flight over. I highly recommend the evening entertainment which is as good as a London West End show my favourite was Circo de Isora imagine opera with cirque du soleil and the innovative Pandora based on the Avatar film with professional singers and acrobatic team they took my breath away! Beautiful hotel, with luxurious rooms and facilities (especially the many pools and gardens). We particularly enjoyed the Red Level breakfast and Happy Hour. The staff was absolutely fantastic - Francy was incredibly helpful, accommodating and professional through and through. The rest of the staff was also always polite and friendly.

First rate This is my second stay in this beautiful resort and I won’t hesitate to return. The staff overall go above and beyond and are so kind and friendly. The pool are is lovely and never feels crowded. Lovely snacks and soft drinks available all day which is very welcome. I have two small niggles, the quality of the tapas offered at happy hour I felt wasn’t as nice and of as good a quality as in February when I last stayed and secondly the toiletries offered in the room were also downgraded but as I say two small niggles. Overall this resort is well worth a visit and we will be back.

We had a fabulous stay, the pool service and attention was very special and a real pamper time which we both needed. The hotel is excellent and the food outstanding. Huge thanks to Jose who looked after us at the garden Bar and Paula who arranged our evening restaurants. Peter at La Terrass was a fine host and the food he recommended was outstanding. This is our 5th visit to Red Level having missed the last 2 years due to COVID and were slightly disappointed as it just wasn’t the same experience as before. Upon arrival there was an issue as I had pre-booked a Bali bed in Feb for 8 days at Euro 50 a day with no drinks package. The receptionist had no confirmation of this and tried to suggest it was either EUR 100 or EUR 125 per day dependant on whether you wanted a jug sangria or bottle of champagne. However when I showed them the email they did honour it although after a few days we were asked to move from the bed we had picked to another one due to the number of the bed I booked being different to what they had. Not a major drama but we didn’t get sun until the afternoon so it was just another thing that wasn’t right. The rooms have not changed and need upgrading, the shower door leaked so much water you had to put a bath towel on the floor each time and the toiletries provided were not the same quality as previously. Also in the main hotel reception the white leather sofas need a good clean as turning brown with dirt at the edges, You used to get some fruit every morning snd a smoothie/sorbet in the afternoon, this has disappeared and had fruit 2 days out of the 10 only. The happy hour is good, I can understand why they have changed it from help yourself to ordering at the bar and tapas served in a platter and this is good as I can imagine that there would have been a lot of wasted food before. The old time of 6-7 was better rather than 5-6 when you still want to enjoy the sun by the pool. Food was also below average, we only ate dinner at the restaurant one night in the red level French restaurant which we were told was high-end! This definitely is NOT the case!! I asked if there was a dress code to which I was told men just had to wear long trousers, we arrived and my partner had to go back and change as he had sandals on although they agreed trainers was fine which was more scruffy however a woman then sat down in denim shorts, not sure why there is one rule for men and not for women. We had an amuse bouche, starter and main course delivered in 40 minutes so definitely not a relaxing meal. Also the menu is very misleading, I ordered salmon with toast which was salmon with sweet pastry, not a very nice combination. Main course we both ordered hake with asparagus thinking it would be lovely fish with fresh asparagus which ended up with 2 bits of hake with gel like skin crammed in a bowl on some apparently ‘asparagus sauce’ and my husbands clams were full of grit so no a pleasant experience eating it. We were not asked If meal was ok and when I raised this with what I thought was the manager at breakfast the next morning. I may have well have talked to a brick wall as she didn’t acknowledge it and just asked why I didn’t tell her last night even though she was nowhere to be seen for the very short duration we were there. For what we previously called our ‘Ronseal Hotel’ as it did exactly what you wanted too. I think we will be finding somewhere else going forward.. It’s the little things that bring this down from a luxury 5 star to an average 4/5 star. What I would say though is that the staff are 6 star!! All of them are cheerful, helpful and take time to say hello and they deserve a lot of credit.

There is something to say about the level of service that some Meliá employees give you in the Red Level adults only section: "AMAZING!!". Does the hotel need improvements in some areas? Yes, I mean what services company out there hasn't lost good staff during the pandemic? But our stay was made incredibly special by several staff members going over and above their basic duty and for a gluten free person like me, this means more than I can express. I almost felt normal. Thank you to Lucas, Lucia, Leo, Diego, Elisa, Mo, the chef Marta and to all the other staff we came in contact with!!!! Will be back!!!❤️🙏☀️

Our stay at Red Level topped all of our expectations from the moment we arrived. Outstanding facilities and extra touches / details that make your stay extra special. The service at breakfast was extremely accommodating to my partners nut allergy and lactose intolerance. Diego was fantastic and always looked after us with our coffees waiting :) The staff around the pool were fantastic and made our stay extra special - they were always smiling and took time to chat to us and made us laugh non-stop. They are a great team always looking after us with our food and drinks. Special mention to Eva, Jose Angel & Moha for the constant laughs and first class service. They really made our stay an unforgettable experience. Vero on reception was extremely helpful recommending us some of the best local restaurants to visit and excursions. She was always helpful and went above and beyond to book places for us and to ensure our stay was hassle free. Highly recommend going redlevel for the extra attention to detail and a truly special relaxing holiday.

Another fabulous home from home holiday. So nice to see the same gorgeous faces of the dedicated staff at the red level. I must start with Jose who was our butler. Jose is the most professional, kind and helpful person. He always makes us smile and nothing is a problem. It would not be the same without him. We met Laura this year who is the new Manager of the Red Level and she was exceptional. She is gracious, professional and has a nice persona about her. She is a fabulous addition to the team. I would like to commend all of the staff and thank them for such amazing service but in particular Patriz who is a little star that shines bright. She is such an asset to the hotel and is so kind and professional. Mohammed who also makes us laugh so mush which makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Other staff who stood out for lots of good reasons were Lorenzo, Andrea, Roberto, Diego, Michelle and Porcone. All of the staff give the same service to every guest and it is so visible how much they want to make everyone's experience perfect. We have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years and always stay in the same villa even through Covid. It was such a pleasure to see it running as normal again after the awful pandemic. It is such a romantic resort with the most amazing sea views. The liquid garden is the perfect spot to have your cool down drink before getting ready for dinner. You can also have breakfast there and during our stay the hotel had some amazing talented musicians playing in the background live during breakfast and afternoon complimentary drinks 5 - 6 each day. The fact that we keep coming back every year without fail speaks volumes about how amazing this hotel is. We have stayed in other Melia hotels which have all been fabulous and that is why we are loyal to the brand however this hotel tops them all.
