Brian & Marilyn are wonderful hosts and their annex is the perfect place to have a calm time in rural Surrey. They were a great help during my week here (picking me up at the train station, renting a bike for me with helmet and lights, sorting out train time tables, etc. etc.). This cosy annex (a former garage, very... More

Hi Jen Thanks so much for your very kind remarks. I stayed at The Garden Room while attending a 4 day course in Horley, to avoid rush hour stress on the M25 and M23. It was perfect. A quiet rural drive to and fro, no noisy holiday makers leaving for the airport in the night, no uncomfortable evening meals on my own in a pub thanks to the microwave and... More

This was our third visit to the Garden Room, and hopefully it won't be the last. When we arrived, it was like coming home - a warm welcome, comfy cottage, and the most hospitable of hosts. Brian and Marilyn have a lovely separate cottage that was the perfect choice for us while visiting friends in the area. This is the place to stay if you're looking for a quiet spot with kind hosts and a wide selection of tasty breakfast items. We hope to stay with them again!
